Oh, say, someone who wants to get rid of the commoner, 'cause then that would be one less girl to compete against in school. And it's easier to get rid of her than, say, you or your friends, or the girls from the knight families.

I just think it doesn't make sense for the commoner to be the one to have done it. This sort of thing would get her thrown out, and no one comes to this school only to blow their chance on doing something so obviously stupid.
