Heart Game: Hurricane - Run 1
[At first, all is still; all is silent.]

___ Make a change
___ Repair something
___ Protect something
___ Find the True Heart
___ Survive
[Then the light comes up, bright, and then brighter, and you are in…]

Re: The Dungeon
Got it!
Re: The Dungeon
[The door swings closed; from the other side of it, they hear and inhuman shriek, and the sound of countless impacts.]
Re: The Dungeon
She yanks the axe out of him, and twists it in her hands, aiming for his midsection a second time. 1d20+9=20, 4 dmg ]
Re: The Dungeon
on the other hand yeah she is going to attempt to shoot this guy at least once. 1d20+4 = 11 god why ]
Re: The Dungeon
Re: The Dungeon
... and she calms, marginally, still wary of her, but focusing instead on the now closed door and the noises behind it. ]
We stuck here?
Re: The Dungeon
[ she tests the fingers on each hand, a little; at least she has one hand still operable. not idea, for dealing with recoil, but she'll manage. ]
Re: The Dungeon
[ considers, uneasily-- paloma's gun, her lack of armor, her own bleeding injuries-- and the shrieking behind the door. ]
I can't believe I had to come rescue you from this stupid thing.
Re: The Dungeon
Or something like that. That and I've never met someone who was a bad idea to sass at that I didn't immediately want to sass.
Re: The Dungeon
... I hope Hurricane's okay.
[ considers the door for a long moment, again. ]
Can't really see a way beyond fighting through em. So-- ... I'll do my best. Not gonna play save the princess just to let you get chewed up.
Re: The Dungeon
Re: The Dungeon
[ ... gonna investigate goat man; anything useful on him? ]
Re: The Dungeon
Re: The Dungeon
kicks his body aside, roughly. ]
Stay dead, asshole.
[ but looks back to paloma. ]
... ready?
Re: The Dungeon
Re: The Dungeon
[ readies her axe again, and goes over, throwing the door open and immediately swinging for anything that might be in her path; 1d20+9 = 13 ]
Re: The Dungeon
[Perhaps it's that you can't see a whole hell of a lot, but that axe doesn't hit much of anything.]
[Thankfully, the claws that scrabble toward you get deflected off the suit's plating instead of biting into flesh.]
Re: The Dungeon
Re: The Dungeon
Re: The Dungeon
She still swings, from time to time; 1d20+9 = 17 ]
Re: The Dungeon
[Damage?]
Re: The Dungeon
Re: The Dungeon
[The one swiping at Paloma isn't particularly effective, either, with a 12 that doesn't get past her defenses even without a suit.]
Re: The Dungeon
she tries to shoot one but it doesn't go great probably because it's just spooky darkness
continuing to just stick close to req and dodge goes better though 1d20+4 = 20 ]
