[ Griffin's first two strikes land on the demon's back—solid hits, evidenced by its ear-piercing scream and the gaping holes in its body. The other shots go through it as well—through the new holes in its body or making new holes? It's hard to say at first, and Amaranth's strike doesn't make it any more clear. It seems as though the first strike would have hit, with how its body seems to split from the naginata's strike, and certainly by the second hit it must scream again.

In all its flailing, it manages to serendipitously dodge Cardinal's first few bullets, but the third lands squarely in its eye, leaving a gaping hole behind. Amaranth might have a hard time staying on the beast like this. ]
