Corruption has overtaken the heart. By exploring the heart, you will encounter this corruption throughout in various forms and have opportunities that will give you additional strength to not only combat the corruption but lessen the difficulty it will take to ultimately remove and destroy it in the end. How much strength you gain depends upon your actions while exploring the heart.
Putting aside the foreign corruption inside, the actions you take while in the heart will have the opportunity to permanently change and effect the perceptions and behavior of Leviathan in the future. So what you do will have a direct impact upon his life for better or worse. And will also either hinder or help you as you move forward.
Main Goal:Remove and defeat the corruption within heart Optional But Helpful Goals:
- Make Positive decisions or changes - Find the true heart (Finding the true heart will help greatly in the final battle, though it is possible to win without it.)
Rules & Information
1.) Unit abilities do NOT work unless otherwise stated 2.) No phones!! They only work for telling the time until/unless otherwise stated. 3.) It is advised to interact with the setting and explore rooms 4.) Some actions will not affect the corruption one way or another but may affect the trust, perception, friendship, or hatred felt for other player characters or things in his life. 5.) Keep in mind things Levi holds important is useful 6.) There will be a final battle, but there is the possibility for additional ones depending on actions and locations 7.) You can die while inside this heart. And there is the possibility for gore, death, and your character becoming 'corrupted' too.
NOTE: Everyone starts off with a separate 5 point sanity score in the game different from their main stats. I will keep track of this for you but pay attention. If you hit 0 bad things happen.
When you wake up on the cold ground, blinking in confusion, the innate realization that something is wrong settles in your heart. You feel a profound sense of loss. Who are you...? What are you meant to do?
Thick, misty fog surrounds you upon all sides so that you can barely see. From what you can see, you’re in a thickly dense forest, with strange vines choking off the trees and natural vegetation. Maybe it is just the fog, but all of the color around you seems muted. And when you look down at your hands, even you seem to lack color. It's as though someone has taken the world and washed it gray.
There isn’t time to ponder what that might mean, however. Because suddenly, you get the distinct feeling that you are not alone. The presence is powerful, disrupting your thoughts. It helps steady your mind just a little-- but is this presence friendly?
A separate presence and voice suddenly cuts through the air disrupting your thoughts. ]
Halt!
[It is a clear and direct demand. It rings out from somewhere within the mist. You get the impression that you should listen or there could be trouble.]
Who are you? Another intruder? State your name clearly. I will know if you are lying. We will not allow another assault upon this heart.
[ The fog never disappears but your mind feels a little clearer as you move. You are hurriedly ushered with all due haste into what you are told is Hakuryuu Village. And at once are brought to stand before a large stone statue. Fog continues to obscure the area, making it difficult to see, but you can make out the large structure. And standing beside it is a very stern looking man with silvery-white hair. Despite the wrinkles in his brow from frowning so much, he appears more worried and harried than anything else. Your guide speaks to him for a moment, before he nods.]
. . . I see. So you are one of those who have been brought into the depths of this place. I recognize you indeed. I am sure you are full of questions, but there is not a lot of time for me to answer them leisurely. Your life and his depends on the speed and strength of our actions, so before you ask anything, allow me to explain the situation.
[ His lifts a hand up to indicate the area. ]
You are inside Kija-- Lord Hakuryuu’s heart. To you, he may be known as Leviathan. Recently, two entities against his knowledge and will have infiltrated his heart. Ever since this incident the engraved marks have taken root inside his soul and have begun to spread corruption through the entirety of it. This is different from the ‘corruptions’ you have come to know within the hell you have found yourself in. This particular corruption has begun to spread like a virus inside him and is devouring the very foundations of his personality.
If left alone and unattended to, not only will he disappear and his soul rot, but you may be devoured along with it.
[ He releases a stressed breath, and runs a hand through his hair. ]
Since its appearance, I have been holding it at bay with the others for as long as possible. But our divine protection is weak in this place-- at most we can hold it off for another four hours before it attacks at full strength. When that happens, you will be attacked too.
[ There’s a pause-- ]
We cannot stop it... but there should be a way to offer you a little protection.
[ The village is modest but clean, with small thatched covered roofs and houses built from stone and other sturdy materials. Upon each door is painted a white, serpentine-like dragon. By a small lake, and nestled beneath the protection of a gigantic leafy tree is a large stone statue of some obvious significance to the village. And overlooking it all is a much larger residence, and clearly what one would consider the most obvious seat of power in the humble community.
Men and women dressed in the same white robes as one another are busy working the surrounding fields, fishing, carrying food or other items from one location to another, and doing laundry. They seem to treat your presence as though they don't see you or you're simply one with the crowd despite how you stand out with your foreign clothes.
Scattered among them are the men that escorted you to the statue earlier. They move about hurriedly and with a sense of urgency and purpose.
From here you can go North to the large building, South or East. ]
[ Up close it is clear that the 'Palace', as one local can be overheard describing it, is quite similar to the other structures in the village. It seems only larger in scale.
Inside, the building is minimally but vibrantly decorated. The bath and lower rooms are closed off, but the upper room is open. Colorful rugs cover the floors, and symmetrical patterns and tapestries paint the walls. A vase holds an artistically arranged branch with... some unusual flowers framed by two chairs.
Shuttered windows circle the room, currently closed. And on the opposite side of the bedroom from the flower display is a comfortable but untidy bed next to a small balcony.
Sitting upon a pedestal and off tot he side, is a very small, elderly woman. She is tenderly folding a white set of robes, though struggling a little to do so.
From here, the only direction you can go is South. ]
[ Atop a hill is a stone structure-- a tomb. The area around it is well tended to.
Or it would be... if not for the tangled vines covered in strange flowers, that have crept down from the nearby forest. Scurring around is a small boy. He seems to be trying to remove some of the vines by hacking at them with his claw.
The entrance to the tomb is blocked. The only way to go from here is North. ]
Too quiet. With the exception of occasional creaking and the rustle of the wind through leaves.
Thick, misty fog surrounds you upon all sides so that you can barely see. From what you can see, you’re in a thickly dense forest, with strange vines choking off the trees and natural vegetation. Maybe it is just the fog, but all of the color around you seems muted. It's as though someone has taken the world and washed it gray.
The forest itself in this area almost seems as though it is breathing, creaking, and moving on occasion. Or maybe it is just your imagination? You get a distinct feeling that you are not alone here. It feels somewhat familiar, but there is nothing living in sight.
Ahead is a small lake. Once, it must have been a beautiful area. But the waters appear dark and murky now. Fallen vegetation floats on the surface of the water.
[The area would probably appear beautiful if not for the mist and gray that permeates the whole of the heart. Large trees loom overhead, and as in many locations, vines, covered in dark flowers, are wrapped tightly about much of the vegetation. You can hear wildlife, unlike before, however. A couple of squirrels even scurry about in the trees.
But the forest looms above you. And you feel...
Lost. Hopeless.
It's as though a piece or even pieces of yourself are missing. The forest is so large. It feels as though you've been traveling a while now.
Why?
Everything is spinning. You can't think. You don't know your way around the forest. How do you find your way out? You don't know how to find food. You don't know the terrain, you don't know ongoing military affairs. Are you necessary?
You can't tell where your own thoughts end and unbidden feelings filter in.
The forest becomes darker and darker by the moment. And you are so small, anxiety building deep inside you as confusion rises.
Who are you...? How strong is your sense of self? How strong are your convictions?
All characters must make a sanity roll their first time in this location. There is no moving on until after rolling.
[ A familiar location. Ueno Park. All of the locations inside the park remain mostly as they are back in Tokyo-F. The color in the area is muted. Instead of your regular variety of flowers that decorate cherry trees, different flowers hang oddly from the branches. They are dark and out of place.
Most of the locations are closed, choked off by vines. You could visit one of the shrines if desired. Those are open and are almost exact replicas of their real-world counterparts from outside of the heart.
Notably, the train is here.
From here you can go WEST or take the train to the SEIKEI UNIVERSITY LIBRARY, the HOTEL DORMS, or the GAME TOWER.]
[ The familiar Library is an eerie sight. The modernized domes and technology within look as though it has been abandoned for years and nature has begun to reclaim it.
Despite that, the books inside, while dusty and old, seem to be intact.
Trying to clean off and restore some of the books is what looks like a 15-year-oldboy.
From here you can take the train to UENO PARK the HOTEL DORMS or the GAME TOWER. ]
[ The Game Tower. It is a dark place and carries with it a number of negative feelings. There really isn't anything good here. It carries with it a feeling of pain, fear, frustration, and sorrow. Despite that, there really isn't much corruption in this area.
Standing near the elevators is a dark-haired man. And on the other side of the elevator is a small bundle of....? Hmm? Well, there's something on the ground.
From here you can take the train to SEIKEI UNIVERSITY LIBRARY, to UENO PARK, walk to the HOTEL DORMS or take the Elevator to the BASEMENT, one of the MIDDLE FLOORS, or the TOP LEVEL. ]

HOTEL LOBBY - DORMS: JR KYUSHU HOTEL BLOSSOM SHINJUKU
[ The hotel seems somewhat dark as it looms above you on the street. Flowered vines wrap around the building, as though they are sucking the color out of the structure. A few wind in and out of windows above where they have broken in.
On the inside, there are subtle cracks in the walls, but overall, it looks mostly intact.
The lobby has a desk with a map behind it that shows the location of each unit's floor. Strangely, Sekhmet sits at the desk chair, her head buried within a book.
By the entryway into the building, there's a seating area for you to loiter in if you don't want to be in a unit only area or in a dining space, and just outside the door are the mailboxes.
There's four elevators nearby, as well as the stairwell.
From here you can go to the DINING ROOM, the VIDEO ROOM, or can take the ELEVATORS to a different floor. ]
[ The dining area is not very big, and tables are clearly meant for groups of four at most, though no one's really around to yell at you if you crowd chairs around, shove tables together, or get rid of dividers. Mostly, it's serviceable.
There isn't much in the room. Though on some of the tables are some vials, as though someone was possibly setting up for a live? They are the only colorful part of the room.
[ The kitchen is expansive. There's a stove, oven, and sink per unit (so twelve of each, total), shelves filled with pots, pans, dishes, suniters, utensils, and basically anything else you'd need stored beneath countertops.
Atop the senstIV stovetop, a stew is boiling, and the smell is inviting. Half-cut vegetables still sit on the counter, beside what appears to be a recipe. There are bowls and utensils waiting to be used, piled neatly at the edge of the table. Off to the side, an open trash bin sits nearby.
From here, you can go to the DINING AREA or LAUNDRY ROOM. ]
[There are two doors into SensitIV's apartment. The main door and a second door that leads to the Examination Room. The door to the exam room is currently locked.
Beside the door is a small board for writing notes. There are a few notes already written there.
Family The best unit Everyone here is important to me Kind of bad at being honest I▉█oul█▒▒░░░ ░░oct░░█▁▒▒▒⧈☰li░░░ Afraid of losing them I want t░░░░░█☰▓▓░▒░░░ ░░░
From here, you can step inside to the ENTRANCE or take the ELEVATOR to a different floor. ]
[ Inside the dorm is about what you would expect from the pastel goth unit. Pink and other would-be bright colors abound. Though they're all a bit muted right now. There are cracks in the walls, where strange flowers have begun to poke through in various locations to force their way in. There isn't much to the entrance though.
From here you can go to the LIBRARY, the HALLWAY, the COMMON ROOM, or back to the LANDING. ]
[ sensitIV's library is a square room with a cotton-candy pink ceiling and walls lined with floor-to-ceiling white bookcases, filled with an assortment of guro artbooks and medical textbooks. Every now and then there's a spatter of blood on the once pristine white of the bookshelves, but… surely nothing bad happened here! Vines intertwine their way among the shelves, some penetrating the books themselves and destroying pages. Grime currently coats the room.
Along one wall are a number of large windows draped in cutesy-print curtains in pink and purple, and a bench window seat with bright red cushions and some artfully disemboweled stuffed animals tucked in each corner. Along the windowsill are potted flowers in individual pastel pots, in the position colors of almost every member of sensitIV, past and present. Susanoo and Izanagi's vases look as though they have been glued together and have multiple bandages wrapped around them so that they will not break again.
On the floor, Lucifel, Persephone, and Sekhmet's vases are broken, their flowers scattered.
In the center of the room are a few small round tables. Each one is draped with a bright red tablecloth cut to look like it's—dripping? and the chairs are cutesy beribboned wicker. A comfortable place to read and study, and maybe be murdered! If not for some of the disarray within the room.
Upon the table is a scattering of books and notes.
From here you can go to the BALCONY or back to the ENTRANCE.]
[ sensitIV's balcony doubles as a garden with stackable shelving for pots of various medicinal herbs, as well as plots of dirt allowing for growing them on the ground. On the ground in planters located right at the entrance into the dorm are pots with all of sensitIV's position flowers, past and present. The balcony is soft, pink and purple lighting with hanging orb lightbulbs which appear to be more like will-o-the-wisps. In the midst of the shelves is a swing, and off to the side of that is a small medical curtain enclosed seating area with furniture similar to what is found inside the dorm.
At the edge of the balcony is a small pond, its waters an eerie pastel pink. While vines look as though they are trying to twist around the edges of the balcony they haven't made much progress here yet.
Izanagi is on the balcony, quietly crouching down by what looks like a kiddy pool and inspecting it.
[ The lights in the room flicker. Vines have torn some holes in the wall and much of the color in the room is dim, as though something has begun sucking up all the life. Despite that, the room is decorated in an edgelord cute culture sort of way.
Along the shelves that run about the entirety of the room near the ceiling are injured plushies of each member of SensitIV. While each is recognizable, many are missing eyes or limbs and look as though they are on their last legs. Each one sits six or more feet apart from the next. The shelf edges are painted with what appears to be dripping bubblegum pink "blood".
The carpet is plush, and pink-splattered bandages dangle like streamers from the ceiling, and drape over the lacey curtains that frame large arched windows. Outside, the world looks pitch black, devoid of life.
An oversized kotatsu sits on the floor at the center, large enough for all the unit members to comfortably fit under. A couple of board games litter the floor, upended. Atop the table, though, are a few loquats and cups of tea. The chairs are cushioned floor chairs that look like macarons (strawberry cream!) when closed but open to look like toothy mouths if someone decides they want to sit on a chair with a back. They look inviting. Maybe you want to sit down...?
In the back of the room sits a tent, the opening closed.
From here you can go to the ENTRANCE or to the EXAMINATION ROOM. ]
[ The room is covered in blood. It coats the walls, drips from the examination tables and tools inside. Broken and discarded limbs litter the ground and back to back, their heads missing, are two female bodies atop one of the examination beds. One wears red clothes in the style of Heart Soldier Senshi, and the other pink and in the fashion of Pep.
Against the walls of the clinic are various counters and cabinets (some with medical diagrams and info posters that basically amount to DID YOU KNOW? DISEASES KILL!) much like you’d find in a real doctor’s office, filled with the tools of the trade and clipboards and paper for taking notes on. The note details horrific deaths and injuries that anyone being healed by those within SensitIV have faced at some point or another. A blood-splattered freezer sits upon one of the counters.
Between two of the counters is a stainless steel sink, the back end of which is lined with cute stuffed animals which double as soap dispensers, and set into the counter next to that is a large mouth-shaped trash can for disposing of hazardous materials. It too is stuffed full of limbs and other body parts.
It is impossible to escape the feeling of horror and pain inside the room.
Every time you enter this room you must make a sanity roll.
Inside this room, you internally realize that if you lose a limb or any other body party, you may return to this room and a SensitIV will treat you.
[ The Bedroom Hallway is dimly lit but the room is visible. Doors to each one of the current occupants of the dorm are here. Upon each door is a board with little notes or information scribbled upon them.
From here you can inspect the INDIVIDUAL BEDROOM DOORS, LEVIATHAN'S ROOM, or the BATHROOM. ]
[ Each bedroom door has a little board upon it with notes regarding the occupant and something to write with in order to add more to it or make changes if wanted. ]
[ Lucifel's door is locked. However, he has a few notes written on his board.
Incredibly important family. Sometimes frustratingly mysterious Not always honest Would like to understand him more How do I help him to move on? Has suffered a lot but is still standing Incredibly respected Would give my life for him The heart of our unit and our leader Would like to be a person he feels he can rely on and open up to I want to help him.
[ Persephone's door is locked. However, he has a few notes written on his board.
Incredibly Important family. A trusted person Incredibly beautiful Listening to him sing is calming Am vexed by his homeworld circumstances WOULD LIKE TO DESTROY HUSBAND! It would be easier if he would say how he feels. Sometimes feels like I am kept at arm's length and it is painful Very important to me and I would like to be a person that can be depended on. I just want him to be happy
