[More of the console flickers to life, and you have a feeling that if you hit the controls like so, it might just move how you want it to.

They're sluggish, however--manual controls are just so slow, and now that Nemesis is actually working, it's brought up a ton of alarms--proximity sensors and fuel reserves and maybe the fact that at least one of its legs is actually attached to this pedestal, which will take a bit to unlatch.

And by now you can see what the sensors are whining about with your bare eyes, rhomboid and red and making your eyes hurt to look at it too long. Your stomach drops to look at it, your knees shaking.

Seems bad?]

[Nemesis is best suit, this is true]

[And they do have enough fuel and power to get out of there. With a loud crack the stone and metal snaps, and Nemesis's rockets flare, and it begins to move--landspinners jetting towards the (still smoldering) gardens.

What Nemesis is not known for is speed, especially with this loadout. So even as they trundle down the scenic stone walks, the geometry is faster--looming directly above them before they can get too far--approaching and not stopping

You can stand and fight--you can turn and run--it doesn't matter. It swallows you into itself all the same, absorbing you with blazing, searing red.

But of course this happened. You aren't good enough to have done better. You're weak. You're worthless. This is what you deserve.

And you burn from the inside out.]
