When you enter the cave, the seal covering the Hell Gate shatters into a thousand pieces and vanishes. When it disappears, the centre of the gate seems to as well, replaced only with a void, glowing and swirling with emerald green.

The heart is gone, leaving only the evidence it was here of stray veins hanging. The destruction is here too, but not so advanced as the rest. Still, the ceiling is beginning to crumble.
