Murder Mysterium - Night 4, Billiards Room
[ pep!pep! and Heart Soldier Senshi enter.
Lingering smoke hangs heavy in the air of the billiards room. The eponymous table stands square in the center of the room, making the place’s purpose clear. The forest green walls on either side are lined with racks, holding pool cues set horizontal like rifles ready to be taken on the hunt. A fire crackles in the hearth, the grate that sections it from the room patterned with organically erratic bronze branches, badly in need of polish on account of soot. On the mantle a leather cigar case sits closed, a box of matches waiting to be lit ablaze perches expectantly atop of it.
It's just the two of you here. ]

[She's not about to ask if he has any reservations, because she has several. It's never fun, to have nothing left to actually do than sit around collecting dust and wait for the reprisal.]
... I wonder if these pairings are random.
[Mayhap this is already part of the scheme.]
JUST BEFORE DAWN
The door unlocks. You're free to go.
. . . But you should go quickly. Something's happening. ]
