[ The bar is unit-colored with light unit paraphernalia, although it's all just for show. Fortunately, comfort isn't part of the unit aesthetic this time—all seats are cushioned, whether the booth seats or the bar stools, comfy and lush. Idols can sit anywhere they like, it seems.

There's alcohol available, but everything else is locked behind the wall-cabinet. . . the recipe book is also available to peruse at one's leisure.

Ah—the door opens, and a fuzzy sort of shade steps in. It looks like idols will be serving the Damned, today. . . ? ]

"Oh, you're not the usual bartender. Well, get me some tea, please—I've got kids to watch over, so I can't get anything the wife will frown about... you catch my drift?"

"My date is coming any minute now. . . Hey, I know this guy's gonna want to buy me drinks, but I don't wanna get drunk. Could you make me something that looks the part without any alcohol? Extra sour, please—he can't stand drinks like that, so he won't drink any of mine if it's too sour for him!"

Well, I do like trying new alcohols. I know mostly meads.

Still, as long as they have a good idea of what they want, it shouldn't be that hard, should it?

Some of them aren't great, but I haven't been around long enough to have really deep wells of do-not-want.

I can deal with most things.

Except empathy bonds which could be fine, or go wildly bad with the wrong trigger.

Sounds like some personal experience there.

Yeah, I think so. Coffee certainly makes it hard to sleep.

And knock him into his senses....club soda? That's shock and surprise. And also a club.

Americano: coffee, coffee, club soda. The poor man's drink, practical and meant to shock the senses.
