As soon as you start to fall asleep, the world of Imeeji is engulfed by a bright light.

It’s strange, isn’t it? You have fallen asleep, and yet your consciousness is awake. You’re simply floating, waiting to remember what it’s like to exist. However, as you wait, a growing fear clutches at your chest. What if you don’t remember? What if you will always be empty? What if you never find what it is that you are looking for? What if you die? When Angel’s voice fades, you recall yourself. Your person. Your identity. You’re awake now! The world is before you, and you can feel a growing sense of adventure flooding into your heart.

You’re standing on a circular platform facing a stage.

It is wonderfully bright and colorful with cheerful music playing all around you. The audience is cheering though you can't see their faces, but they're waving various colored glow sticks at you, creating fanchants with your name in it. Something beeps on your person, and you can find a phone lit up with a basic profile. This information is probably important to remember!

If you walk down the path and onto the stage, you'll find that there are two ways you can go.
► On the left, you see a long corridor, enclosed and semi-dark.
► On the right, you can see what looks to be a bright light that opens up to a familiar scene of the Imeeji Hotel Doors.

Behind you is just the white light that you saw at the beginning. It seems like the rest of the stage scene just fades out as if someone didn't finish painting the canvas.

[Can he convince any of the fans to give him a glow stick?]

[ blinks, sticking out his arms and observing the new outfit he's been placed in

??? ]

I look like I belong on Avante.

[ but after examining his clothes and checking his phone, he strides up to the stage ]

[You can try, but it turns out to be transparent.]

[YOU STRIDE UP, there is a left side and a right side]

[Looking down at his clothes - then at the phone, to poke through it until he finds his profile.]

Daedalist, huh?

...man. I don't even know if I'm saying that right.

Hmm... If I were a True Heart, where would I hide...?

[ but after thinking about this for a moment, he just heads off towards the hotel because it's familiar ]

[It takes him a minute to decide where he wants to go, but after a second, he heads for the stage and then pokes his head into the passageway.]

[Gotta be backstage, right?]

You find yourself walking into the Imeeji lobby.

The lobby has a desk with a map behind it that shows the location of each unit's floor and stairs to the video room. There is also a guestbook that you can sign with plenty of pencils. The kitchen and dining room are blocked off by a sign that says, “Dangerous. If allowed in, will potentially poison everyone by accident. Her cooking skills are no joke!”

By the entryway into the building, there's a seating area for you to loiter in, if you don't want to be in a unit only area or in a dining space. There's only one elevator nearby and another door that leads to the outside. It seems the elevator can lead you to wherever you want to go, just like normal: All of the team rooms, and strangely, at the very top is the game tower.

You find yourself entering a labyrinth.

No matter where you go in this area, you’ll find that there is always a ceiling above your head. There IS a sky sometimes, but it's artificial. You might see a sun or moon and there are definitely stars, but you get the feeling that they aren’t exactly real physical things that you can visit in space. Likewise, you are almost always surrounded by walls of some sort. It might take you some walking, but you'll eventually run into that wall. That feeling of confinement is definitely real.

For a moment, you can hear Angel’s voice speaking: “Memories are like getting to visit your friends for a brief moment even if they aren't here . . . and I cherish them so very much.”

You feel happy to be here. It is home.

The door opens to an old pool area encompassed by trees, shrubbery, and plants. Flowers lay in bloom atop the murky water, flowing serenely with help from the piano fountain that pours in.

This is what said piano looks like.

► The exit lies on the opposite side of the room, past the pool.

[The audience SWOONS at your movement.

And the end of the corridor is brighter than you might think]

[He heads toward the long corridor.]

[ checks out the sign on the kitchen and huffs a laugh ]

Didn't know she had such a dangerous weapon at her disposal.

[ then he heads for the elevator and hits the button for FiN's floor ]

[its dark but its brighter at the end]

[He can't help but smile. He remembers her saying something similar to him if not that exact phrase. And it was impactful.

He sits on the edge of the old pool and looks at his reflection.]

...whoa.

[He stands there staring for a couple of seconds, just taking it in - walks by the piano, idly, and runs his fingers under the water.]

[If this is a labyrinth, does that mean he can daedalize here? ...what even does a kernel look like?]

[It might in fact be the same exact thing, wowee.

Your reflection looks perfectly fine, look how cool your outfit is. You might see a lawn chair sitting in the bottom of the pool also.]

As one would expect of a unit named future is now, their dorm is all modern futuristic-- white with silver chrome. The furniture is all geometric shapes, as if drawn up with a very crude 3D modeling program, and all the lights are glowing cubes (that you can change the color on!). Their central table just a silver cube, with several smaller white cushion-topped cubes for chairs clustered around it. Beds in the bedroom touch only one wall, and don't touch the floor at all. Truly, the future is now.

However, there are changes around this place. All along the ceiling lie a bunch of origami, a thousand to be precise, with a bunch of different colors. One in particular seems different from all the rest, but for the rest of it, they seem fairly uniform.

Despite the clean, slightly cold nature, it is surprisingly warm when you step in. For a moment, you can feel a rush of honest feelings overcome you. You trust this world.

There is a sheep ottoman and also a couch.

From here there are three doors:
► One seems slightly small to ward off tall people.
► One seems to be a shiny, technological lab door.
► One seems plain.

Sighs.

Maybe Angel should have given him a maid outfit. Getting out of his cool outfit because he doesn't want to be sopping wet after the fact and diving in to see if can go and collect the lawn chair.]

[If you look in the water, you can see a lawn chair down there. That's pretty weird.]

[You have a feeling that this time, you do not have the current abilities to daedalize.]

[ hmm. uses Verticality to float up towards the ceiling and grab the one origami that sticks out from the rest. ]
