Fanmail the Twenty-Second

[ Fanmail will be found in big boxes full of letters in the lobby, to be easily found by anyone who's walking by if the box isn't pulled quick enough. Some letters have QR codes, with instructions to scan them with your cell phone's free QR code scanner function. Beyond the letters that are submitted below, you may assume there are more letters in every box if you'd like.

Although bodies of letters may include idol aliases, assume every envelope and package is addressed to or otherwise uses the official idol name of the character.

Letters found in the "Everyone" header may be assumed to be part of every unit's box, most likely with multiple copies of the submission unless otherwise stated.

Characters on hiatus have their fanmail IC saved and stuffed into their mailbox for when they return! They'll be located in this post for easy findings, but don't worry, the fans' feelings will reach the character somehow ;)

Fanmail given to dropped characters will be sent to everyone in the unit, though still labeled with the dropped character's name. You can find these in the "Every Unit" subheader. ]

A doujin in which all members of ☆ZRAEL matched exclusively with each other in the tinder game, which then has a series of vignettes of various dates, platonic and otherwise. Doodle and Aradia have a date that ends in sex, as do Man☆Eater and Glory; there's a Doodle/Man☆Eater/Glory three-way date that just involves a lot of wrestling and suggestive use of knives; Requiem and Doodle casually make out; Requiem and Sabre has some ambiguous one-sided pining; Sabre and Wataru have a reverse-petplay date where she leads him around on a leash; and finally, Raven and Glory have a platonic date in which he tells her he thinks of her as a daughter (the art in this one is a bit rushed). In the end, they all get a million points and win the game and have a celebratory dinner on a roof somewhere.

SHARK FACTS
1. Sharks do not have bones.
Sharks use their gills to filter oxygen from the water. They are a special type of fish known "elasmobranch", which translates into fish made of cartilaginous tissues—the clear gristly stuff that your ears and nose tip are made of. This category also includes rays, sawfish, and skates. Their cartilaginous skeletons are much lighter than true bone and their large livers are full of low-density oils, both helping them to be buoyant.

Even though sharks don't have bones, they still can fossilize. As most sharks age, they deposit calcium salts in their skeletal cartilage to strengthen it. The dried jaws of a shark appear and feel heavy and solid; much like bone. These same minerals allow most shark skeletal systems to fossilize quite nicely. The teeth have enamel so they show up in the fossil record too.

2. Most sharks have good eyesight.
Most sharks can see well in dark lighted areas, have fantastic night vision, and can see colors. The back of sharks’ eyeballs have a reflective layer of tissue called a tapetum. This helps sharks see extremely well with little light.

3. Sharks have special electroreceptor organs.
Sharks have small black spots near the nose, eyes, and mouth. These spots are the ampullae of Lorenzini – special electroreceptor organs that allow the shark to sense electromagnetic fields and temperature shifts in the ocean.

4. Shark skin feels similar to sandpaper.
Shark skin feels exactly like sandpaper because it is made up of tiny teeth-like structures called placoid scales, also known as dermal denticles. These scales point towards the tail and help reduce friction from surrounding water when the shark swims.

5. Sharks can go into a trance.
When you flip a shark upside down they go into a trance like state called tonic immobility. This is the reason why you often see sawfish flipped over when our scientists are working on them in the water.

6. Sharks have been around a very long time.
Based on fossil scales found in Australia and the United States, scientists hypothesize sharks first appeared in the ocean around 455 million years ago.

7. Scientists age sharks by counting the rings on their vertebrae.
Vertebrae contain concentric pairs of opaque and translucent bands. Band pairs are counted like rings on a tree and then scientists assign an age to the shark based on the count. Thus, if the vertebrae has 10 band pairs, it is assumed to be 10 years old. Recent studies, however, have shown that this assumption is not always correct. Researchers must therefore study each species and size class to determine how often the band pairs are deposited because the deposition rate may change over time. Determining the actual rate that the bands are deposited is called "validation".

8. Blue sharks are really blue.
The blue shark displays a brilliant blue color on the upper portion of its body and is normally snowy white beneath. The mako and porbeagle sharks also exhibit a blue coloration, but it is not nearly as brilliant as that of a blue shark. In life, most sharks are brown, olive, or grayish.

9. Each whale shark’s spot pattern is unique as a fingerprint.
Whale sharks are the biggest fish in the ocean. They can grow to 12.2 meters and weigh as much as 40 tons by some estimates! Basking sharks are the world's second largest fish, growing as long as 32 feet and weighing more than five tons.

10. Some species of sharks have a spiracle that allows them to pull water into their respiratory system while at rest. Most sharks have to keep swimming to pump water over their gills.

A shark's spiracle is located just behind the eyes which supplies oxygen directly to the shark's eyes and brain. Bottom dwelling sharks, like angel sharks and nurse sharks, use this extra respiratory organ to breathe while at rest on the seafloor. It is also used for respiration when the shark's mouth is used for eating.

11. Not all sharks have the same teeth.
Mako sharks have very pointed teeth, while white sharks have triangular, serrated teeth. Each leave a unique, tell-tale mark on their prey. A sandbar shark will have around 35,000 teeth over the course of its lifetime!

12. Different shark species reproduce in different ways.
Sharks exhibit a great diversity in their reproductive modes. There are oviparous (egg-laying) species and viviparous (live-bearing) species. Oviparous species lay eggs that develop and hatch outside the mother's body with no parental care after the eggs are laid.

[ It's a cute chibi drawing flip book of Doodle and Leviathan, the words BEST FRIENDS written across the top. A rainbow, done in glittery paint, hangs above their heads while the two hold hands. The scene that plays out is very short.

Both are happily holding hands and it looks as though they are talking amicably. In Doodle's free hand he is waving about a pretend gun with a BANG flag hanging at the end of it. However, as you flip through the pages, he secretly puts the toy gun away before pulling out what looks to be a real one.

Leviathan continues to chatter happily before Doodle eventually pulls the trigger. Levi falls dead as blood grows beneath the spot he fell. Respectfully, Doodle places the toy gun on Levi's chest.

'Thank you, Friend. ' ]

The cover of this doujin tells you some of what you're getting into; it has Dante in a nurse uniform, showing a lot of thigh and shoulders with very accurately rendered muscles. The first half of the book is more of the same, full splash pages of him in various different poses that somehow all manage to avoid a pantyshot (or, whatever-he-has-under-there shot).

The second half is an actual comic of characters reacting to this, including a few just turning away immediately or determining it's not their thing, Griffin throwing a pair of pants at him, and Raven, who looks like he doesn't know how to feel about it. In the background of all of this is Glory, turning increasingly red, her fluster level measured by a thermometer gauge beside her. When Raven uses his cane to attempt (unsuccessfully) to flip Dante's skirt before retreating, Glory's fluster meter just explodes, which apparently sends her into "suave mode." She approaches Dante with an enigmatic smile, flirts, and slides her hand up his thigh. Whatever she finds under his skirt seems to surprise her, but (un)fortunately the doujin ends there.

A doujin in which Shrike and Glory put on a ~revealing clothes~ fashion show. Their audience appears to be Nero and Raven, but there's not really much attention paid to them; in fact, the majority of the panels take place behind the privacy screen Shrike and Glory have set up where they help each other with quick changes between outfits.

Shrike and Glory get swiftly more into this process as the show goes on. By the second outfit change a touch to Glory's spine as Shrike undoes a zipper prompts a shiver, and Glory fastening a garter around Shrike's thigh makes her breath catch. During the third change they 'help' each other out of their clothes much more than necessary, with clearly deliberate caresses and rubs, and they both are a little pink when they walk down the 'runaway.' During the fourth change there's some straight-up grinding on each other, and Glory catches Shrike's mouth in a kiss to muffle the sounds they're making, which continues until Nero and Raven wonder what's taking so long, at which point they quickly finish getting dressed and make another run, both brightly flushed and their outfits askew. They're back to it once they're behind the screen again, though, and very shortly forget they're meant to be doing anything else at all.

The end of the book shows a variety of lewd sound effects coming from behind the privacy screen as Nero and Raven sit listening and exchanging embarrassed glances, with the caption, "They were both too polite to check on them."
