Flowers of Heaven: sensitIV

Something nudges at your ankles.

When you look down, you see you’re being headbutted by… a number of fluffy white, red-eyed rabbits that, unsettlingly, seem to have small human hands for front paws. They're doing their best to herd you toward an arched doorway that has opened in the thick brambles and leads to a winding path beyond.

Once you cross through, a gate closes behind you, and the voices of your fellow idols fade from your ears. It seems as if you’re on your own, now.

Here, the brambles that surround your path have bits of torn lace caught in their thorns. Some of the fabric is splattered with what appears to be fresh blood.

It seems that the rabbits are carrying some things for you: a collection of sixteen different flowers, a small lantern of blue flame, and a wreath woven from gorse, Star of Bethlehem flowers, and water lilies.

We can burn the ones we're protectin', right?

I was, ah, considering that. Though I do not, ah, know if we should stick to one in that case, or both.

Both makes sense, doesn't it? 'Cause -- let's say only ten or so people got those specific flowers -- that stops four flowers bein' burned right there.

Both, ah, then...

...If we're going to burn anyway, we might as well.

Gets us off to a good start, hopefully.

We need to choose three flowers, correct? What about the two we are protecting and a third none of us has?

I like that plan!

It is required that three must be voted to burn out of all of this city, but there is nothing that says we must choose three.

Ah... I did not catch that.

The host - whoever they may be - seems to be a rather crafty being this time, as well.

It seems safest.

That is, ah, a good plan...

Right. It might be prudent to burn the ones that seem the most common - if others have voted for them too, then others are likely to protect them as well.

[ nods ]

What'd you guess would be most common?

Wild Oats?

I mean, based off that dating game, you're not wrong.

. . . Acacia, Wild Oats, Gorse, Wild Rose, Mimulus . . .

If you gave me this list without the context of our unit, that's what I would think. Granted, we don't have any Wild Rose or Mimulus at all - and I think there are quite a number of us. At least, not often is everyone from any given unit playing a game at the same time.

We can get two of those if we do Wild Oats and Gorse and have me wear the crown.

I agree as well...the most common seems to be what people would focus on the most.

Looking at our crossovers here seems like the best ideas in regards to that, doesn't it?

Our unit, ah, has some...very strong...personality traits in common, but...
