Flowers of Heaven: pep!pep!

Strange: there's a pile of pencils, pens, and crayons at your feet. Where did that come from?

As soon as you take notice of them, though, they move of their own accord, caps popping off to draw into being a collection of simple, animate doodle people. They can’t talk, but instead begin hurrying off in their wobbly way toward an arched doorway that has opened in the thick brambles and leads to a winding path beyond, waving their arms in the air for you to follow.

Once you cross through, a gate closes behind you, and the voices of your fellow idols fade from your ears. It seems as if you’re on your own, now.

Here, the brambles that surround your path seem to be hung with old newspaper clippings and photos, all too faded with age to properly make out.

It seems that the doodle people are carrying some things for you: a collection of sixteen different flowers, a small lantern of blue flame, and a wreath woven from clematis, chamomile, and mimulus flowers.

I do not wish to sacrifice ourselves, but the only choice to protect ourselves beyond the crown is to potentially harm others, more than we even intend to. It seems reckless when we cannot be assured that our intent will be realized.

I had Zrael sacrifice themselves for our sake in the last game. If they need more to prove my determination, then they may continue to wait.

I know you are, but... you weren't here for it. One game - maybe Cobalt-san told you? We tried to just give all our things away, but it didn't work. I - I promised, that after that... we wouldn't make anyone else look after us ever again...

No one can protect us in this game nor can we protect others. It is only how much we wish to protect ourselves at the cost of being overzealous.

Look to sensitIV, they are proof we are not being foolish.

I’ve heard similar sentiments from my mother over on Taisho. If flowers are going to be burnt either way, we may not have a choice in the matter but to decide. I don’t- I don’t like it. I want to protect people, but what if we end up worse off?

I have already called this game incorrectly. Whoever has a better plan, I will endorse it.

That's the point of this sort of thing - all we have is guess work and then we form a strategy around the results on the next round. It's not that what you thought of for us was wrong. We're all at risk no matter what.

You can still protect the things important to you, even if it means someone else might be impacted negatively. You won't lose your values if you can still feel remorse.

We’ll be fine, I promise. We’re still us. Games like this are supposed to be a moral challenge. Unfortunately not everyone will feel as badly about burning flowers as we do.
