POISON GAME: sensitIV

[ The room is plain, white walls and white ceiling, except for the steel-panel flooring. There are three metal stands rising out of openings in the floor, each of which carries a glass vial on top. One of them just holds water. Of the remaining two, one contains a pale pink, opaque liquid with a creamy consistency; the next is tinged barely yellow like a weak tea, and would be almost completely transparent but for the pulp and fibers mixed in, drifting through it.

Both have flowers floated across the surface: the first a tiny sprinkling of cherry blossom petals; the second a small, but whole, bloomed lotus. They're cute and smell nice. ]

We can stop the pain, so that's great and wonderful.

If it was solely my decision, I would keep the water and send the antidote. I would prefer to minimize harm done, at a minimum.

But...

[and he shrinks because he... kind of got a wake-up call these past few days that there are people who won't do that...]

If we send the poison to ☆ZRAEL we're probably not gonna hurt anyone. They're hard to predict but they ain't gonna leave themselves open by sendin' their antidote.

'Probably', perhaps...

...Would other units target them, though? I can't imagine one vial of antidote would be enough for more than one vial of poison...

We worried 'bout the unit that tried to ice Lucy now? Fuckin' news to me.

I would prefer that no one be harmed. Regardless of their affiliation.

If we send poison, and someone else does so as well, one antidote will likely be insufficient. Therefore, we may as well have poisoned someone who kept water.

Who! Cares! They love to do murders, they're gonna keep doing murders, you know what happens to murderers?! They get murdered! Why's keepin' people who give the opposite of a shit of our wellbeing more important than protectin' ourselves? Why the fuck do I care more about you than y'all care about yourselves?

...It's not that I want to protect them, specifically.

I just see no reason why I should want to harm them. Lucifel is fine now. If this is supposed to be vengeance, then there's little point to it.

And if there's no reason to wish them harm, then I do not wish to harm them. That's... all it is.

It's not vengeance! It's protectin' us by hittin' someone who has shown they don't care about hurtin' anyone, especially us! It's called self-preservation, you fuckin' walnut!

I think... risking sending the antidote is worth it. The probability of receiving poison from another unit is low enough. But I understand why others don't.
