Gloom: Heart Soldier Senshi
[The old-fashioned writing desk in the center of the room carries several blank pieces of paper, a fine wooden pen, and a piece of parchment covered in writing. When you take a look, you find the following epigraph in a vibrant scrawl:]
Congratulations, future wordsmiths, and welcome to your first exercise in the creation of a true masterwork of tale-telling. This evening you'll be penning a terrific tragedy, starring the family of unsympathetic ne'er-do-wells provided to you.
Your goal? Why, to construct the best story your mind can conceive, of course - and make their lives as entertainingly miserable as possible before writing one of them directly into an early grave.

In his madness Rosseau continued to paint, his Butler, Jeeves Jeeverson, telling him that the blood spattered canvases that boasted nothing but fungi were going to sell for millions. He continued to paint, hell bent on showing the world the beauty of the little bastards that were slowly but surely driving him mad, but nobody else could see it. They scoffed and scowled, turning the other cheek, and soon he fell into debt.
With his best friend, Elias, still lost in the moor he was powerless to stop the creditors from banging down the doors and demanding this and that, taking all of his worldly possessions as his Butler watched, scheming from the corner.
"If you sign it all over to me, then they can take it," He said easily, pushing the will he drafted in front of him. "I'll protect your assets, sir, and both you and your daughter, as I've only ever had your best interests in mind." But he did not.

not only was she right, there ARE things out to get her--but D.va protected her. just like she said she would. She. Is. Incredibly touched, and that's not the madness talking.

I don't think they're real. They can't be real.
[ It's very clear that she's telling herself that (without too much conviction, either) in an effort to remain composed.
It's as D.va said--none of the bruises or abrasions seem to be so bad... ]
We'll need to get you some more clothes when this is over... but if that's the worst of it, then we'll be coming out lightly, it seems.

As soon as the game ended D.Va, Hiryuu, and Hurricane all found themselves fine. It might have been a more bumpy ride than they'd been expecting, but they'd made it through with minimal damage. Heading back to the dorms they decided to relax in their private onsen while watching a movie and eating some delicious snacks. They deserved a break, and some dumb game was definitely NOT going to get the best of them.
