POISON GAME: future is now

[ The room is plain, white walls and white ceiling, except for the steel-panel flooring. There are three metal stands rising out of openings in the floor, each of which carries a glass vial on top. One of them just holds water. Of the remaining two, one contains a pale pink, opaque liquid with a creamy consistency; the next is tinged barely yellow like a weak tea, and would be almost completely transparent but for the pulp and fibers mixed in, drifting through it.

Both have flowers floated across the surface: the first a tiny sprinkling of cherry blossom petals; the second a small, but whole, bloomed lotus. They're cute and smell nice. ]

At least not voluntarily... it seems like unless everyone really wants the points, which aren't that big a deal - it's less than you'd get for a Live and a vid - they're likely to choose the route that minimizes harm in this specific situation.

. . . I do doubt every unit will make a decision based upon points.

There are those who I imagine would prioritize their survival and potential receipt of poison above anything else.

Ah, but will they do so at our expense? I don't know that we've gathered enough enemies to be a choice for that.

Sometimes it isn't necessarily about having enemies.

Sometimes it's about not being worth protecting. Hm?

That seems pessimistic.

But it's true! The human condition is that one will always seek to protect their loved ones first. And unless they're particular softhearted, if doing so requires harming someone outside of the circle, then so be it.
