[In your rooms, you start off on the patio of a different large, fancy family estate house: there is a pitcher of sweet drinks as well as glasses sitting on the patio table, as well as a binder labeled ROLES.

the rest of the neighborhood (and the town beyond the neighborhood) is foggy, indistinct at first, and the exact contents inside the house are misty as well, until you choose your Roles and the props from your role. Once you have selected, the rest of the set takes shape: everything you need (or want) is there, regardless of how ridiculous.]

[ enter stage left PALOMA, in a modest, plain dress, holding a suitcase that contains her only belongings. she has arrived at the estate today to begin her low-level job as a cleaner; however, she wears a sunny smile on her face, like she's been given the greatest gift in all the world. ]

Excuse me! Could you tell me if I'm in the right place?

Were you really supposed to be here so late? Come on, we don't have time to dawdle. I'll show you what you need to do.

[IZANAGI is seated at the bar, some of the sparse lighting catching his face enough to showcase a noticeable scar over his eye that was definitely modeled off of Duality's. He's knocking back (fake) shots at the counter, eyes locked in a staring contest with an old photo of a crime scene that was probably perpetuated by the Boss, not that he knows who that is.]

It's been five years... has the trail really gone cold?

[Duality, sans scar because he covered it up and with a green wig to imitate Izanagi's hair, sits down beside him with his best fake villain expression which technically is just a small smile that doesn't look intimidating at all. he tries, okay!]

[Here you are, in an elegant parlor in the estate. That is where Tatiana Sayaka Hohenzollern-Cabrál sits on her elegant sofa, sipping a cup of tea. She is a wealthy widow, with powerful connections, and you need something. The question is, what can you offer her?]

[technically he doesn't need anything but information about upcoming events. he's just walking into the parlor, dressed up in a nice vest suit. he's also removed the makeup from his scar so now he's pretending to be his twin brother nbd]

What is the date for the the gala event?

[the gala is impressive with tables set up with food and drinks, the room big enough to accommodate a large number of guests. the decorations are lavish and appropriate for the wealth they're apparent family has got going for them.

he's there this time, as "himself" being the good (bad?) twin, sans scar, dressed elegantly as the "heir" to the family. he's also waiting for his brother to show up]

...It's been a while.

[Since he's been here in the flesh, actually, but they're pretending (x2) he hasn't had the guts to face his own brother in some time.]
