CAPTIVE GAME: LiliS & Eichi

[ You're in a room with no doors or windows, about the size of a living room. Depending on how many of you are around, it might feel a little cramped. The walls and ceiling are draped with fabrics, the floor covered in colorful rugs and piles of sitting cushions, but you can see the dirt ground and untreated wood walls peeking through in places. There are three or so oil lamps to light the space, each placed on a stump-like round little table that isn't big enough to hold much else. It's kind of cozy, but...

Most of the cushions are embroidered with an array of colors, but there's one pillow in particular, set aside from the rest, that's one solid color – Iris's position color. ]

[He's not NOT ANXIOUS, but also. Sometimes you've had a bad week so just put a cherry on top of the bad week sundae why not.]

Could she explain that they need to get their teammate back? Yes. Is she going to bother with that? No. ]

Then make sure to bear what happens as best you can.

That's my job, I assume??? I'll do the best I can for the sake of my unit.

[Sweet while y'all are chatting he's going to try to get out of his bonds. The minute eyes aren't on him he's trying to get his hands out from behind his back by curling up into a ball and trying to pull them under him.]

I don't know, I've already got two.

[He's flexible!!! So he'll get his hands in front of him if no one stops him. That's already more comfortable!]

It seems like you're the kind who'd like a bit of a fight, right? Fufufu~ We could get this game over more quickly if you'd let me out and let me make trouble for you.

I'm already playing the part of someone with no will~ so if your suggestion is to untie you, then give it a little more of a demanding tone of voice and maybe I'll obey.

[syckophant]

[Oh, okay. Roleplay it is.]

I demand to be freed, right this instant! [And if his yelling is distracting... all the better.]

You really got into it~. . .

[ anyway he'll start to untie eichi bc this is where we are at ]

[ a hand placed gently but firmly at Coriander's wrist ]

....That won't be necessary, I don't think.

[ Hi mom just got back from shopping, are you kids having fun, ]

[They're having a lot of fun, especially since Eichi has enough leeway to get a hand free, and he slips it into his jacket, pulling out a pocket pistol and just. Firing it off at whoever is unlucky enough to be in front of him.]

[ have you ever suspected you might get shot but when it happens it's still kind of surprising.

Also if he's going to get shot he really feels like getting shot in the chest or the face would be way more likely to kill him than getting shot in the shoulder ]

Ah —

[ it might be an anticlimactic vocal reaction but at least he does dramatically fall over. ]

Eichi is forcibly ejected from his seat.

The staff whips around with a slight whine of air before it connects with his midsection and sends him flying against the wall. ]

[ She's gone from listening to him shout about being untied and working with the smell of onions to hefting the axe high above her head at a moment's notice.

There was something in his hand when he was knocked aside--whether or not it's still there, that's what she's going for, to disable him in the most unkind way possible, to the arm she thought he was using; dropping the head of the axe in a wide arc down and into one of his shoulders, deep enough and just at the right angle to sharply dig into his wing.

[ the gunshot is... not startling, something comfortingly familiar and alien all the same. She doesn't move, in the milliseconds between the noise and Cori's body beginning to tip, watching him with wide eyes.

Amaranth flinches; her body moves on its own in time with her and Edelweiss. Heedless of the axe, she lunges for Eichi to grab his gun hand, using the chance Edelweiss's axe opens as a painful distraction to twist his arm up and around. She forcibly drops all of her slight weight into a knee against his stomach, her slender fingers tight over his to jam the barrel of his own gun between his teeth. ]

[syckophant]

[This is so much. Who would have known LiliS was like this? Eichi has no time to react, not that he would have been able to with so many people, all with their powers, but he had to do something, right?

He can't speak, with the barrel of the gun between his sharp teeth, but he isn't sure... he would speak much. The arm near his chopped shoulder falls limp, his other arm twisted painfully as he's taken down and one of his wings falling off of him completely.

He doesn't fight any more, brows knitted as he tries to AT LEAST look angry as tears spill down his cheeks.]

. . .what a bad shot. . .

[ should he really be complaining about that??? One of Coriander's many talents along with 'almost dying' is 'ignoring the pain'. Which does not help him not feel it but it does allow him to give one liners after being shot. ]

[ When the adrenaline fades a bit more, she'll be able to fully appreciate the expertise of her two newest daughters. But with Coriander on the ground and Eichi's hand still on the flame piece gun, all of that is just efficiency, soldiers moving swiftly into place, exactly as she would expect.

Amaranth straightens from her stance. ]

Keep him secured, please. [ Her voice is gentler when she speaks to Edelweiss and Cypress. ] I'll start seeing to Coriander.

[ Then, sharp again as she addresses Eichi— ] He was right after all, it seems. We should have just broken your wrists.



[ ...and time to rush to Coriander's side to take out the medical kit she now always carries with her, in case of Coriander Emergencies. ]

[flamecursed]

[ There's probably a bit of blood on her, but she's wiping at it with her free hand.

She doesn't pull the axe free—it keeps him pinned and... well, it'd be messier otherwise. ]

...you...

[ Listen once the dumb boy is taken care of she'll be impressed with Eichi or something. Maybe not quite impressed, but close. ]

[ coming down off that immediate high cypress actually looks pretty wigged out but--

amaranth told them to keep him there, so she stays, easing up just slightly on the gun so it's not shoved into the back of his mouth anymore. ]

[syckophant]

[It's not hard. To keep him from moving.

He's just not going to move right now. Is it shock???? He's not sure because if it were he shouldn't hurt so much, right? His tail moves slightly, looking like a silver snake on the ground, and the single wing attacked to his back twitches, but other than that he just goes boneless. He can't really surrender verbally!!!

He WILL try to push the barrel out of his mouth with his weird silver forked tongue though.]
