CAPTIVE GAME: Taisho Roman Revolution & Iris
[ You're in a room with no doors or windows, about the size of a living room. Depending on how many of you are around, it might feel a little cramped. The walls and ceiling are draped with fabrics, the floor covered in colorful rugs and piles of sitting cushions, but you can see the dirt ground and untreated wood walls peeking through in places. There are three or so oil lamps to light the space, each placed on a stump-like round little table that isn't big enough to hold much else. It's kind of cozy, but...
Most of the cushions are embroidered with an array of colors, but there's one pillow in particular, set aside from the rest, that's one solid color – Valour's position color. ]

Re: DISCUSSION
[there's a long pause of realization]
He never told me what happened... I only saw his blood grow black, but... you are saying there was more?
Re: DISCUSSION
Thorn called him out, you see, but Yasmin refused to meet his challenge. And Yasmin is a patient boy, you know that too, don't you, Yusoo? He hardly ever shows his temper.
So as he went to walk away, Thorn provoked him by threatening all of you - his lovers, his unit. And still, though he began to fear for you, Yasmin tried to walk away, but with one of Bad End's powers, Thorn grasped his fear and heightened it to a blaze.
And you know, too, that Yasmin isn't so composed with his terror as he is with his rage.
He started to come apart. The violence of the confrontation, the fear, the invasion of his own mind, when he had always been held together with little more than a thread... Throughout all of it, he was consumed by his worries and love for others, and yet in that moment, he himself was all alone.
So I had to be the one to take care of him.
Re: DISCUSSION
He was going through all of that... alone? He never told anyone?

Re: DISCUSSION
Because of what I am...? Well, I suppose that couldn't be said to be wholly wrong, but...
I'm really not doing anything, am I? I haven't forced anyone's hand at all.
Re: DISCUSSION
What do you want from all of this, Leyli?
Re: DISCUSSION
Oh, but you're right, of course, I should have known. A born scapegoat won't lose its convenience after a bit of absence. I may not be Yasmin, but we share enough that it's all his fault again, I'm sure. Silly me! As weak as he is, I suppose I'm his lesser when it comes to playing politics.
Re: DISCUSSION
[...]
Ardashir is... Ardashir is someone I put my trust into, and I have always believed in him. I know the weight he carries, and I would never blame him so carelessly!
[he reaches out and grabs leyli's face, both hands on her cheeks]
Leyli. Ardashir. You do not have to face your fears alone.
Re: DISCUSSION
I know. You're a good man, Yusoo.
Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
Even if you couldn't always protect him, you did save him in your own way. Thank you for the kindness you gave, and all your unbridled love.
Re: DISCUSSION
I... of course, I... I love him, still... I always will.
Re: DISCUSSION
as he approaches Leyli his hands are balled into fists so tight his nails dig into his skin. ]
Yasu-- ..... Leyli. The game is almost over. Let's go.
