CAPTIVE GAME: future is now & Izanagi
[ You're in a room with no doors or windows, about the size of a living room. Depending on how many of you are around, it might feel a little cramped. The walls and ceiling are draped with fabrics, the floor covered in colorful rugs and piles of sitting cushions, but you can see the dirt ground and untreated wood walls peeking through in places. There are three or so oil lamps to light the space, each placed on a stump-like round little table that isn't big enough to hold much else. It's kind of cozy, but...
Most of the cushions are embroidered with an array of colors, but there's one pillow in particular, set aside from the rest, that's one solid color – Shark's position color. ]

Oh... Dear...
[ He does not sound too happy about this. So he addresses Izangi first. ] We're meant to torment you to release Shark?

Tell me the rules. What counts as "enough" to get Shark back?

[ At least this "captor" is civil enough... He's not stepping on you while reading off his phone... ]
... We are to torment you until our actions make you weep. Our chances of winning depend on your suffering...
[ He looks up... ]
It also says you cannot consent to anything we do to you... But perhaps we could work out some... Post-Game compensation?

If crying counts as a "win" then there's plenty of non-violent ways to cause some tears. All you have to do is irritate my eyes enough to cause my eyes to water.
Heck, if you held my eyelids open until I cried, that would count too.

It is worth a shot, I suppose... But in case that doesn't quite work, I apologize for what we may have to do.
[ THAT'S OMINOUS, MEDUSA. ]

Try that one, and if it doesn't work we can look into other methods. Drawn out torture is just going to mean your own unitmate has to spend more time with whoever got them, so let's try to be efficient here.
