[you reach the forest via taking an elevator to the roof, and then you just KIND OF KNOW where the dragon's den is. It's a shallow cave that really just gives him a place to rest and eat away from the elements, otherwise he generally has this whole rooftop forest to himself

anyway you find him dozing making big snores in his cave, but he shifts and sniffs a bit as you approach.

Definitely like. 3 times larger than toothless at least. a big boy. and not missing any tail fins or anything]

Aren't you a wonder. [Because it's not Toothless, it's not. They're both injured the same way. They fly together.]

[But still, he can appreciate a new dragon friend and he approaches, reaching up to scratch under his jaw.] Hey bud.

[the dragon yawns and reveals big teeth (not at all toothless in fact) and then lets it's tongue hang out lazily and makes an agreeable whining sound at the scratching.

then reaches out to grab you with one big claw and yanks you close. time for cuddles]

[Yanked in for cuddles and honestly, this isn't that weird.]

Missed me, huh? [For however a game manifestation can miss someone.]

[some agreeable growling noises and licking ur face]

[ejwaiew he laughs, turning his face away.] Come on, now. Dragon slobber is hard to get rid of.

[More scritches for him.]

So, are you from this world?

[some questioning noises and the putting a claw on your head

[I had whole conversations with Toothless, I expect a lot.]

[sorry this dragon doesn't actually speak people that'd be weird! he does like you though, nuzzle nuzzle]

[He laughs, a bit sadly.] Really not like him at all. [He'll hug the dragon thought and let him cuddle a few minutes, but then he's going to move to get to his feet.] Want to help me find secrets?

[the dragon understands companionship at least and stretches it's broad wings and gets to it's feet, eager to follow you]

Let's go boy.

[Okay, FIRST THINGS FIRST.]

[Lets see if anything looks weird from the air.]

[It's still flying on a dragon and he can only be SO strong.]

[dragon definitely understands TIME TO FLY at least, and lowers so Rye can climb on top of him]

[Pats his side.] Let's to a circle around the building.

[there is in fact no saddle because who needs those.

the dragon takes off obediently, and flies lazily around in a circle.

The surrounding city is a mismatch mess of F Tokyo and modern day Yokohama, with features from each. There is a skyscraper across the way that has been toppled (last night's battle, you remember, the demon lord got close but didn't manage to scratch the HQ) the lights of the city are spotty, some areas are abandoned, others are bustling. you are high up and can't make out the street below.]

[Chafing.]

[CHAFING IS A THING.]

[But that is certainly something. He can still pat...]

[Tooth. Just Tooth.]

[He can pat Tooth's side to get him where he wants him, and pulling out his phone, taking pictures of where places he does manage to recognize from F Tokyo move into places he definitely doesn't. Pictures of the abandoned areas.]

Let's see what the streets are like.

[Tooth takes orders well and flies them down in a spiral around the building, lazy and gentle. The thing as you get closer to the streets they... don't actually get any more clear. They are black, endlessly dark, are they pits or do they simply absorb all light? it's hard to tell. certainly it's concerning.

[He's taking more pictures, making sure to include the buildings so it's not just void.]

So the dream only goes so far.

[dragon flies lazily but honestly there isn't much detail to the world outside once you look at i up close. there are buildings but, where are the business signs, the people, the cars? ok you don't know any of those things really but it's definitely oddly empty]

[Business signs he gets a bit, he knows markets. But yeah, there should....there should be PEOPLE.]

[There are too many buildings for no people.]

Let's head back up boy. [Directing him back up the skyscraper.]

[Tooth flies back up toward the forest, landing on the edge of the building]

[He'll take a chance from his perch to see if anything looks Weird about the forest.]

[i mean, it's a forest on top of a skyscraper so. mostly that]

[Let's be fair, the skyscraper is still Weird to me, so why not a forest on top.]

[He nods though and pats Tooth's head.] I'll have to cut fly time short, bud.

[the dragon makes more agreeable noises and flops out, both to flop and also let you dismount]
