Izanagi's Ideal World | 8/8
You wake up in a typical Japanese high school classroom to the sound of a bell.
You are dressed in one of two uniforms* (*Please button up your jacket properly!) - whichever your character would feel most comfortable in. The bell was apparently the signal for the end of classes for the day, because everyone else is getting up from their desks and mingling with their friends, making the motions of preparing to leave without quite going yet.
Among them is Izanagi, surrounded by a small group of students and chattering away energetically. There are two exits, one at the front of the room and one at the back, both of which lead to the hallway. On the other hand, if you want to try understanding what you’re doing here, this is probably the best opportunity to talk to Izanagi or talk to your classmates. You can also, of course, find each other and compare notes. There’s a bag hooked on the side of each of your desks, and inside are the typical supplies you would expect most students to carry: writing utensils and notebooks. These can be used, or not, as you please.

Re: Izanagi
[By now a bunch of people have added coins to the pile, so he opens up his wallet to collect them all- weird, he's totally got a photo in there instead of his ID.]
Re: Izanagi
Ah, wait. Let me pay, too.
[ patting himself down with one hand while looking to see if he can catch a glimpse of the photo in the wallet, it's not weird to stare since i'm trying to pay ]
Re: Izanagi
Also Tokyo Tower is now looming outside, that's interesting. Hizumi glances over at it for about a second.]
...Huh. Nice weather today.
[But back to Ayumu!]
What kind of drink do you prefer?
Re: Izanagi
[ frown ]
Looks like I forgot my wallet. Nevermind—
Hey, if I get the drinks, will you pay for me?
Re: Izanagi
[In the time he takes to fix Ayumu with an unimpressed look, there's some light ribbing because the other students have noticed the photo, too. "Hey, shouldn't you have your ID instead? You can't prove anything with a family photo..."]
Ahh, I have my ID too! It's just a good picture, that's all.
[There's some snickering and - oh, would you look at that, you can actually see the school grounds now! The Outside toplevel has opened up, should you wish to go there.]
An-y-way. I can spot you for the drinks. [...Wait.] Hang on a sec, weren't there like, a bunch of people asking you for stuff the other day? Are you just avoiding them now?
Re: Izanagi
[ offering his hand out for the wallet ]
Thanks. I'll pay you back later.
Re: Izanagi
That's just cruel... The music club's been waiting to hear you play for ages now, it feels like.
Then again that's probably because the longer you put it off, the more often they come to me to ask about it.
Re: Izanagi
I'll play when I feel like it. Don't tell an artist to rush his work.
[ a beat ]
You coming with me, then?
Re: Izanagi
Are you sure you won't get it over with? I'll get you the drink and everything this time if it means I don't have to tell a musician or an aspiring chef that they're going to have to keep waiting.
Re: Izanagi
[ taking a moment ]
Forget the drink. If I'm going to deal with it now I won't have time for it.
Re: Izanagi
Thanks! They're both in Building B... except you never go there, do you. [Since that's apparently the designated club building in this world, although Ayumu might recall that the music room was Building C in reality. Wild.]
I can show you the rooms.
Re: Izanagi
Re: Izanagi
...
Unless you were just using that as an excuse to skip out again and I'm still going to be stuck fielding questions later.
Re: Izanagi
Re: Izanagi
Re: Izanagi
Show me the way.
Re: Izanagi
[With a wave to the other students, he'll begin leading the way! Once they're out in the hallways, he takes a right - there's a bunch of students packed in here, and something feels off, but with the pace he's setting there's no time to linger. They walk through a set of double doors at the end of the hall, outside of which is a short path leading to an identical set of doors that marks the entrance to Building B. And once they're inside there, he opens up the first door on the right and it opens up the...
music room? This shouldn’t be physically possible, to say nothing of it not matching the real world layout at all, but it’s here, and so is the grand piano, open and ready to be played. There’s a number of music club students gathered around, looking in awe at Ayumu, no doubt waiting with bated breath to hear his music.]

Re: Izanagi
You got a song in mind?
Re: Izanagi
[Hmmmm...]
You can't really go wrong with a Mozart, right?
Re: Izanagi
[ it's not going to be a full symphony ok
anyway he's going to the piano, but ]
Are you going to listen?
