Re: Casino Party!
Who's your boss now? Or in customer service terms, can I speak to your manager?
Re: Casino Party!
"You're not ready to meet the Manager yet."
Re: Casino Party!
Re: Casino Party!
Re: Casino Party!
One moment.
[Well then, don't mind his as he wanders around to casino looking for either a) a piano or b) a deck of playing cards]
Re: Casino Party!
There is nothing else in or around the card tables or equipment. Nothing will happen if they're touched or tampered with, they'll simply reform.
Re: Casino Party!
So. I've seen you practicing some magic tricks for the guests.
You show me one on yours. And I'll show you one of mine.
Re: Casino Party!
Like for like is a fair trade, after all, and she does love skills quite a bit.
Re: Casino Party!
Try to shoot me.
This is an escape artist trick.

Re: Casino Party!
(Please also enjoy the third gif where he takes the card back and then throws the gun away).
Sorry if you were hoping for anything sane or useful]
Re: Casino Party!
"What a wonderful trick!"
Re: Casino Party!
Always keep one card up your sleeve.
Your turn.
Re: Casino Party!
Her deck is resting on the bar, and she shuffles it, cuts it, and fans it out for him.
"Please select a card and memorize it."
Re: Casino Party!
Re: Casino Party!
"When you're finished, return the card to the deck and shuffle it as many times as you'd like."
Re: Casino Party!
Don't forget to cut.
Re: Casino Party!
"Ah... excuse me..."
She walks a few yards over to the bar refrigerator, and fetches a bucket of lemons.
"Pick a lemon."
Re: Casino Party!
[But sure.
He upends the whole bucket so he can pick the one at the very bottom, spilling the rest on the floor]
Re: Casino Party!
The lemon you select does not appear to be tampered with in any way, shape or form. It is just an ordinary lemon. She hands you a knife.
"Please cut it open for me."
Re: Casino Party!
Why a lemon of all things?
Re: Casino Party!
As you cut through the lemon, it hits something. In the middle is your card, folded neatly into quarters. Upon pulling the card from the citrus, your mind is filled with the knowledge of how the trick is performed, and you're confident your fingers have the deftness to replicate it perfectly.
[[ +2 bonus to any rolls related to dexterity i.e. lock-picking, sleight of hand, or theft ]]
Re: Casino Party!
And then hands her the rest of the lemon]
Lemonade, if you would. No added sugar.
Re: Casino Party!
Re: Casino Party!
... Weird, though]
So.
Did I pass?
