Yvette's super fun spy simulator: Session II

Objective: Convince Yvette to leave the Ideal World.
The following is ICly known:
  • Unit abilities are off
  • Yvette is actively trying to sabotage players
  • One tactic is making interaction "pay for play," using memories, specifically those of Yvette. (max 5)
  • False memories will not be accepted as Payment.
  • Alternate Payment is negotiable, but will also result in forgetting what is paid (roll 1d6 with a score of 4 or higher for an accepted alternate payment)
  • Use of force is highly inadvisable, and the condition for success is extremely low. Failure will result in a false memory.
  • Your smartphone works, and can be used to document inconsistencies in the Ideal World.
tl;dr The more evidence you collect, the more convincing you are; memories can be used to fast track, but if they run low, you get mindfucked.
All things lost or received during the game will be reversed upon waking or within one IC day, at player’s discretion. The character does not know this ICly.

Your park is filled with astro-turf over concrete, the script in your acting room is unreadable, the books in your library only contain filler text, the "finished" paintings you have are poor copies of famous pieces, and you tried to hide Chrysanthemum's sheet music because it's painful to think of him.

Everything here is mere set dressing to sell a lie to yourself.

I think that you want a world that does not challenge you because you approach everything as a challenge to overcome or use to further your goals, and it becomes exhausting when you have real challenges and approach everything else in life the same way.

It...is not any one thing. I don't believe that it is an urge one can simply turn on or off. You must grapple with it every day—whether to make the effort to react instead of always acting. It's not what people like us know how to do.

[ He shrugs uneasily ]

In my experience, it is always a new struggle each day. And the only way to improve is to start trying.

And, perhaps, by not mixing all of your fun into work.

...My first instinct is, of course, that I would do anything. Revenge, spiting the world and restoring them anyway. There is little that I am unwilling to do, but what matters is what my precious person does not want me to do. I would not want them to have regrets or guilt over anything I did in their name, and living my life only to work towards a goal like that... I know Silver would hate it if I did that for him.
