Suou moves to put himself between Leo and Shu as if worried the other might still be a threat, and Naru is immediately moving from her spot on the stairs to hover.

Leo, for his part, just... kind of keeps clinging to Sena. his fingers clenched in his shirt.

I will not make any promises. The world is rough, and it breaks people. Humans are imperfect creatures, and we hurt each other. You hurt my ears with your awful kazoo and you have brought far too many cats into the household, when I would honestly prefer no one kept any animals in the dorm.

So, without asking, I will do this in kind. You saved me despite the fact it would disadvantage you and your unit. So, even if I am hated, and even if this brings me nothing but trouble, I will take you home.

[ She just smiles a little. Even though Shu can be fussy he always cares deeply about his friends. She steps near too, peering up at him from below. ]

People are always going to hurt other people. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes by mistake. It's impossible to live in a world where no one makes mistakes. And it's impossible to exist in a world where there aren't goodbyes, either.

But I don't want to leave anyone's side. We can't guarantee anything in life... but we can always try our best to fight and get back up even when we've fallen down. This world will eventually fall... we always wake up from dreams. But the good thing about reality is that as long as we exist we can still keep moving and reaching out to others and making connections.

You're always trying to make people laugh and smile, and I think you've brought so much life to the unit. I want to continue getting to know you more, and making new memories. Even just doing silly things, like singing pirate songs again. I'll even play the kazoo with you. I want to play the cello with your performance on the piano again as well.

Let's make something real. All of us together.

[ ....... as shu's hand touches his, the fake izumi starts to crumble away into the same black sparkling sand as the knife had.

They were real too, you know. But now they're gone, and I can't even blame them. I'm the one who left them. ... Sena even tried to follow me, but then I couldn't even follow him out.

I'm sorry. I don't know your friends from home like Shu-san might. You don't have to worry about keeping up pace with us though. I'm- [ Someone who literally fell apart at the seams the other day ] struggling in my own ways, as is Shu and Lucifel-san here as well. I don't think we're in a race.

We're happy to walk at whatever speed you might need. And if sometimes, you just need to stop and rest until you can find your feet again... then that's fine too. We'll wait with you until you're ready again.

If you cannot keep up, I am willing to carry you. Or drag you, if you prefer.

[ How about hide your face under his cape instead. It takes him a moment to get it off, since Leo is holding on to him and it's a little ineptly done with one of his hands taken by holding Leo, but he'll drape his cape over Leo's head and shoulders, so he doesn't have to be seen in his moment of weakness if he doesn't wish it ]
