Welcome!

The OPENING is where to start, but there are a couple things to note.

Your characters will find that their powers only work near the end. I'll let you know when powers will start to work! Characters will be given both a mask and a lightstick—if you try to get rid of either, they will be replaced within a second. They will also have whatever items they brought in with them.

Secondly, this will be ICly apparent fairly easily and also very early, but your character will be able to find many different characters. I won't be able to NPC them all so we might get a little vague!! You are free, and a little encouraged, to go look around.

Characters will be told ICly in the OPENING what they need to do, but they won't be told about how things will sometimes feel wrong. This will be a sudden, very noticeable feeling, in red! Generally, what they need to is get Wataru to say goodbye. Having him willingly leave will work too, but that's the better outcome. This will be ICly known once you're out of the opening area.

Also there is a sense of urgency ICly with regard to timing, but don't worry about that OOCly!

Finally, tags are going to come from both stagename and regale don't worry about it.

[ Back to Sabre, and motioning her closer, voice lowering. ]

[ This is the first time Keito has looked happy this entire time.

We're going to take over his performance.

[ Keeping her voice down. ]

He likes surprises, right? And we were told to improv in the beginning, so... well [ What better use of the skill? ]

I spoke to his unit. His one from back home... I also spoke to his parents. I'm about to find them again, but... the idea is that we're going to take over the stage...and put on a farewell show.

But we need to keep him distracted here and off the stage. Megane-san has been helping me all evening, so I can leave him to help you here. I think since you're both on the same unit, well... having you near as a reminder that he needs to leave is important, too. You're closest to him, after all.

[ One ear twitches a few times before she shoots a glance at Wataru ]

His little friends agreed to this?

After talking with them some, they were the ones that prompted and reminded me that the big thing we want him to do is to say goodbye. That's when we decided to hatch this plan.

. . . I think deep down, Wataru-san knows this is all just make-believe. I'm sure he wants to see his friends again, but... the real ones. Not just figments inside his own mind.

His dumb precious Itchy isn't even here for him, and he's just-- pretending he's okay with that.

[ Reaching out to clasp her hand for a moment. ]

We'll definitely succeed and rescue him.

[ Turning to Wataru, and more loudly. ]

Sorry we haven't gotten to talk a lot yet... just hold tight okay?

Megane-san... thank you for everything. You've been wonderful.

[ Back to Sabre. ]

You can order him to do whatever you like and he'll help you out. Just hold tight until we're ready, okay? You'll know when it's time.

[ She's gotta go find Senpai now. ]

[ Senpai just got catfished and then ghosted.

Wataru is waving with a bit more cheer than earlier at her. Megane-san is ignoring her and poking him in the eye. Sorry, he has some more vexation to go through. ]

[ She flusters a little at the hand grab ]

Right. I mean -- obviously, I wasn't worried.

[ GUESS SHE SHOULD CONTINUE TO BULLY NOISY ]

[ Poor Noisy is being relentlessly harassed by a megane who seems to be unleashing all of the day's problems on him. ]

Furthermore, Hibiki, your appearance was dreadful. Why did you make your guests traverse through a maze of all things?

[hissterics]

[ She wanders over to Mr. Four Eyes and drapes one arm over his shoulder, listening in for a second before interrupting. ]

Okay, hit pause. It's my turn again.

[ He's making a Face at her, but just pushes up his glasses and looks away. ]

[hissterics]

[ Pats his cheek and addresses Wataru again. ]

Anyway, as I was saying. Aren't you and Itchy supposed to be married?

[ Cheerfully, Wataru is shrugging. ]

Ah, but there's three of us! He's free to go feed donuts to our adorable little Tenn in the intermission!

[ He's at least genuine about this part. ]

[hissterics]

And if he's not at your show? That's just fine?

[ NONE OF YOU SAT DOWN SO YOU COMPLETELY SKIPPED PAST IT.

But he does sound... a bit strange. ]

In this case... he would be here. If he wasn't here on time for it, then he would have been stopped by something. I don't think it's quite like before, when he wouldn't come.
