[She gestures them over to the edge of the well.]

I... think someone should see this...

[She holds her phone/torch over the rim of the well again.]

Something's weird, for sure. Let's try the water, and then I can hop down and see.

[She holds up the bucket.]

I mean... it looks okay, but... water shouldn't smell of anything, should it? And there was this weird noise when I drew it, too.

[ well, the water smells... a little earthy, maybe, and a little... well, there's a sort of tang of metal, like there's a lot of iron content in the water, or something. ]

[Yes, this is a little nervous-making, but she's sure she can do this...! Wednesday tests the rope just to be certain, then climbs down after Cardinal.

[Of course it's damp and scary and the walls are slippery and it promptly feels like a really bad idea, but not quite so bad of an idea as letting Cardinal go down a weird well full of whispering voices by themselves, so here she is

[Deep breaths, Wednesday!
