When you close your eyes, bone-deep fatigue crashes over you like a wave—almost like it was just waiting to catch up to you the minute you stopped moving.

Within the darkness, you can just barely hear the echoes of distant voices, too faint to identify . . .

"Jealous of his normalcy? Maybe just a little."

"Man Eater is so scary! Man Eater is a killer! It's all very alarming but. . .that's all there is, isn't it?

Neeheehee, brutish as you may be, someone like you will never be more than that. You'll kill, and you'll die. Over and over, until it's permanent some day."

"And you're the same... Hitoshiki! The truth is you're just a serial killer who's only good for killing—so why are you going to school like some normal kid?! Leading a dual life when you don't even have a dual personality—it's not fair! Why only you?! It's not fair!"

"It's better not to fight, sometimes. I feel kind of sorry for you..."

"So what it comes down to is this. Would you rather stay what you are, or be happy?"

Gradually, those voices blend into the hum of a bustling crowd... naturally enough to make you wonder if perhaps you were just hearing things, after all.

You head inside the haunted house.

SO DARK. SO SPOOKY.

The room has been sectioned off with black curtains to create a winding passageway from one door to the next. There's a fog machine running somewhere, judging by the smoke curling around your feet, spookily backlit with red light. Fake blood, skulls, and pentacles adorn the area, strategically arranged for maximum aesthetic. On the whole, the production values are surprisingly high for a dumb high school production.

[this is adorable. raven will walk further in, using his (normal) cane to occasionally tap against the curtains to see if there's anyone behind them]

Come out, come out, wherever you are...

He will probably trip a few jump scares noises and flashing lights before anything else, but eventually he will tap a very small someone behind one of the curtains. She giggles ominously.

Oh, it seems I've found my tormentor. I wonder who it could be...

[lifting the curtain away to reveal...!!!]

Behind the curtain is a somewhat familiar face. She giggles again.

"Raaaveeen! You're ruining it!"

[blinks in surprise]

Little Red? I see... are you the only one here?

"For now! D☆☆dl☆m☆n is supposed to take over when I go on break."

I... left some noodles in the offering box. You can have them.

"Thank you! You know ☆ZRAEL is exempt from our own food rule, but that was sweet of you. Ehehe."

In exchange, do you mind if I borrow some of your supplies? I'm looking for something that can really... stun someone.

"Gyahaha♪ You helped set everything up, so of course you can take whatever you want! Oh, but Sabre already took my knife."

She's better with that than I am, anyway.

There are strobe lights and a fog machine hiding somewhere behind the curtains! There's also the skulls scattered around in plain sight, and some rope laying around somewhere.

The fog machine is going to be a little hefty, but nothing that can't be lifted. She smiles.
