What kind of pet is Kentucky? Did you name him after the state in the United States of America? Most countries are divided into provinces, but the United States of America is divided into states.

Kentucky is a chicken!

I have not heard of the United States of America kingdom before! If it can be divided, does that mean it's very big?

It's very big! It's the third largest nation in the world.

That's in both land mass and in population. If you measure by land mass, then the largest nation is Russia, and the second largest is China. But if you measure by population, then the largest is China, and the second largest is India.

Labyrinth walls!

...

Oh wait, not every world has those...

[ amused ]

Although our world does have labyrinths, I don't know of any that hold countries inside, and most countries aren't inside walls at all. Is that what it's like in your world?

I’m not really familiar with countries at all, my world is filled with kingdoms. Some are small and some are large.

In this world, kingdoms are a kind of country. Or maybe it would be more accurate to say that the standardization of "countries" and "nations" as a format absorbed things like "kingdoms" and assimilated them into itself.

[downloading info]

[nod nod]

I see! Labyrinths divide the land up so absorbing is harder!

Oh, that's a sensible theory! Historically, it's always been harder to conquer areas with natural barriers, like mountains. Your world's labyrinth walls might function just like that.

I guess so! But they can also move around! And so you never know, maybe your kingdom will disappear one day because the walls got too close!

It is not too bad! But it is amazing to think that our worlds are so very different! That means no matter what, we will be able to learn new things.

I think so, too! The things that people make are all so amazing.

Maybe Solo the Magician?

In Hebrew, the name “Arvad” means “wanderer.” Maybe I should call myself that.
