You're not even sure if that's your own thought, but the feeling doesn't leave no matter how much time has passed. The room looks nice and cozy, but everything feels wrong. You don't belong here, you're you, aren't you?

You'll soon notice that there are other things that just isn't right. You can talk, but is your mouth moving? You can see, but are your eyes blinking? You also have ball joints. Nothing hurts, and you're fine, but it's a little weird.

Humans need eyes to see, and hands to create. What could be more human that taking in the world and building something new from what we've seen?

Humans need feet and legs to carry them forward. What could be more human than standing tall - the ability to get up and keep going, every time, no matter what knocks them down?

Humans need a voice to communicate. What could be more human than working out how to proceed, than using our words to plan for the future?

But even more important than the things we took were the things we could not bear to lose. Our heads and hearts, our sanity and our confidence, our skill and our very identities: we kept these safe, because they make us whole.

You need all of these things to be human. And we have them all.
