Fanmail the Fourth - Day 55
[ Fanmail will be found in big boxes full of letters in the elevators themselves, obstructing everyone's paths. Some letters have QR codes, with instructions to scan them with your cell phone's free QR code scanner function. Beyond the letters that are submitted below, you may assume there are more letters in every box if you'd like.
Although bodies of letters may include idol aliases, assume every envelope and package is addressed to or otherwise uses the official idol name of the character.
Letters found in the "Everyone" header may be assumed to be part of every unit's box, most likely with multiple copies of the submission unless otherwise stated. ]

Featuring Heart Soldier Senshi, Taisho Roman Revolution, AlcheME!, BAD END=DEAD END
The second half of the volume stars Wire. Vowing to avenge his fallen sons after receiving a ransom note, Dad goes out to hunt down Bad End=Dead End. This volume departs somewhat from the last two in content and tone, filled with action-packed and graphic fight scenes, punctuated by comic moments, like the initial scene where Silk lets him into the dorm room and declines to fight him on the grounds that she also thinks Boss sucks and would rather watch him have it. Wire first takes on Sanguine and Phoenix, who make a valiant effort to subdue the man, but the effective use of Buddy Bond is ultimately overwhelming for Phoenix's tender heart and the two end up cuddling off to the side. Next up, 99 and Oni take on Wire but are ultimately defeated. But before Wire can challenge Boss, who still has Hurricane and Spidey gagged and tied up behind him, D appears out of nowhere, challenging him to an epic battle that culminates in a fight that ends with D and Wire kissing (and uh, some other things that are censored by the artist) until through the power of ~true love~ Wire comes back to his senses. It's revealed in the epilogue that Hurricane was cured through similar means by Nemesis and that Boss has been keeping them safe while working on trying to find a cure for Spidey. The final page depicts the two of them burying their old feud with a handshake of begrudging but mutual respect.
The very end of the volume has a long note written by the artist talking about how sad and disappointed they are that most of the stars of this volume are gone: there was a delay in getting the final draft printed due to an illness, and by the time they'd finished Wire, Spidey, and D were all gone. The artist has included several very cute sketches depicting the non-evil HSS and their step-siblings, alcheME, with both dads all together doing various things: having a picnic, all the kids as tinies holding hands and being walked to school by their dads, performing some song routine in costume. The artist concludes with the volume with a very emotional expression about how they'll wait forever for the dads and Spidey to come back if that's what it takes. ]
