Shifting Sands: AlcheME!
You find yourselves in a tastefully-appointed stateroom with linens and upholstery in AlcheME! purple. At one side is a closet full of Victorian-era costumes and a box of props—whatever you might need to play a role.
There's a desk, and someone has left written instructions on the blotter. Maybe you should read them!

ROLES
Reply with which role you selected. If you accomplish your goal, reply to your own comment with links to the relevant thread(s).
Spiritualist: Find someone from another nation who is haunted or cursed and cleanse them with a cool ritual.
Sickly Heir: Find a suitable marriage match while trying to hide your terrible illness. Pick one symptom and mention it once in every thread for acting credit.
Botanist: Convince 5 people to try your “medicinal tinctures.” They do nothing.
Priest: Find someone who is troubled, convince them to tell you about it, and give them decent advice for their situation.
Con artist: Convince someone to show you a mysterious artifact they found for scientific and/or mystical examination and then just steal it.
Artiste: Find an artistic muse, create a work based off them, and convince someone of high station to buy it or put it in their museum.
Famous Occultist: Trap someone into listening to a really long meandering story about some past weird occult business you were involved in.
Gossip columnist: Find evidence of a scandal to write an article on in the paper. Or, if you can’t find one, try and manufacture one to write about.
