Pokemon DAYCARE: ☆ZRAEL

[ Your phone goes off, and an alert notifies you that it's TIME FOR GAME START. There's a map with GPS pointer showing your location as well as a static pin to guide you to where you need to go. You eventually find yourself inside the Pokemon Daycare. There's a main lobby area (which you find yourself standing in) a front counter, and then behind that a second inside area that's clearly meant for workers only. Here, there's a very large incubator with eggs inside it.

It's very obviously only recently been finished: the inside is an immaculate but bare white. Aside from yourselves, there's only one other person in the room as well as a strange, red, zippy thing that keeps going around the room. He dabs at his bald head. ]

"Oh, I'm so grateful you've come! Mizz 'Strael said you all would be just the right crew to help me get this place up 'n running. My name's Professor Plum. This is Rotom."

[ He gestures to the zippy machine, which makes a crackling, buzzy noise and does a twirl in the air that would probably pass for a chipper hello, if you spoke Pokemon. From another doorway, a large Pink pokemon walks in. ]

"Ah! And there's my other helper. Please say hello to Chansey!"

[ Chansey says its name and waves. ]

"I don't know if Mizz Strael told you or not, but--this incubator is a prototype for a new invention of mine. If we're successful today, we'll be able to reduce the time it takes to hatch Pokemon from days or even weeks to just a few short hours--it'll revolutionize the Pokemon world! But if I'm going to be successful, I'm going to need your help. If you don't mind, I'd like for us to go ahead and get started."

[ Chansey waddles forward pushing a cart filled with cylindrical glass tubes capped with metal at the top and bottom. The glass portion reveals liquid inside. The colors inside are BLACK, WHITE, and GRAY. Professor Plum addresses your group yet again. ]

"These here are nutrition capsules. They're filled with serums I've specifically crafted from the pulp of berries native to this region. When inserted in the incubator, the machine converts the liquid you see into energy and nutrients that are delivered directly to the chamber and are absorbed by the eggs. You might notice there are three different colors--that's because there are three distinct compositions available at the moment. These different combinations may affect the eggs in different ways. We won't know until we finish the experiment.

"This might seem a little daunting to you since we don't know how this will impact the hatchlings, but please try not to worry! The most important thing is that you definitely want to make sure that the incubator has 3 nutrient vials inserted at any given time, no matter which serum combination you choose!If you don't choose a total of three rods, there might not be enough nutrients to hatch all of the eggs, so be careful and don't forget to choose three!"

"The next assignment that I have for you is a lot simpler, but I'm afraid I don't really have any guidance for you. However, seeing that you did such a good job selecting a theme, I'm sure you won't have any problem coming up with a name for us! Just let me know when you've made a decision and I'll get right on making a sign for us!"

"We'll need to advertise ourselves! There's a number of ways, really. You could put on a skit in the middle of town, make and deliver some flyers around town, make up a cute ad to put in the newspaper or even just a catchy slogan… really, any of those options would be good. Why don't you decide on one of them and get our name out there!"

"However, I think I'm going to need to need more help in order to do that…. You all have been wonderful, but Mizz 'Strael was very clear you're only here for a short time." Professor Plum sighs. "Since I can't keep you all as employees, I was thinking you might be able to the next-best thing for me--help me pick out some hired help for long-term business operations!"

[ He produces a sheet of paper and presents it your group. ]

"This is a list of local candidates. I think for starting out, I should pick two staff members to help me run this place. So--which two candidates do you think are best?"

You can assume that Professor Plum will give guidance as to which items your pokemon needs, or your character can look up the information on their phone, which acts as a Pokedex. Your Pokemon only needs to consume ONE RARE CANDY to evolve if it needs levels or happiness raised. ]

The incubator suddenly chimes. "Ah! Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for. Come, quickly now!" Professor Plum motions for you all to come over to the machine. Inside, the eggs are vibrating and shaking. Tiny cracks appear along their surfaces, growing larger by the second, until finally…! With a dazzling outpouring of light, the egg shells break open revealing…
