I wonder if that doesn't happen anyway. You saw how Sunshine fought in the end against 99. It was like he'd forgotten all of his sorrow and anguish for Bad End's suffering. He said it himself before they started--that he didn't want to fight him. He even laid down--as though he intended to die.

We may not have any choice once the violence starts, all plans aside.

We might end up facing off against them regardless, depending on who they targeted. But if we don't try to help them, someone who does want to hurt them might.

If we didn't choose Avante, who would you want to choose? The same strategy would also put Wild City at risk.

This is true, I suppose... however, Hurricane and I are good friends with avante. I think they'll understand, if we explain, what our intent was.

If we select avante, we may end up fighting with sensitIV anyhow. They'll most likely try to hit either avante or Wild City. We know that Wild City and sensitIV have some kind of agreement about targeting each other in these games, but Loki was also extremely ready to fight all of avante over Cardigan's Live. Wire also stated that he thought attacking the healers was always a bad choice. We might need their assistance when this is over--if we go after them twice, they might mistake it as a grudge, the same way we were worried with Azrael. They're also not all emotionally stable.

Ace is most likely their heart. And we know that Cardigan is not. I know without a shadow of a doubt in my heart that Raijuu isn't, either. If we challenge one of them, then there's no way we hit their heart.

That's true. Truth be told, Cardigan's taking some things kind of hard, so... I'd prefer to select Raijuu myself.

We don't know for sure that Raijuu has or hasn't fought yet. He didn't answer his phone last night--but he's not a fan of technology. He might have turned it off to go drinking.... he's done that before.
