[Nothing crazy seems to happen, but it does make your skin glow from the light radiating from the pieces. The light never stops glowing, and you can't help but feel a sense of comfort.]

He retrieves a cloth and uses it to gather up a handful of pieces of fruit, particularly the seedier varieties like apples, peaches, pomegranates, etc. and a couple bits of jewelry. (specimens. for science)

If nothing strange happens during this process, he'll use the cloth to tie them up in a bundle so he can carry them all in one hand.]

Well. For all the impossible perfection of the fruit, there is something almost welcoming about it—not a compulsion; just a gentle, almost home-y feeling.

You also touch the trinket. It glistens brightly, too brightly, almost to the point of being its own light source. Wherever you touch, it becomes dimmer . . . ? ]
