If so they are doing that to help the alchenerds with that heavy chain.]

[ yeah that's a good call; they can in fact do that. they're able to activate the mechanism easily, spooling the chains around the winch, and the gate begins to rise while the alchemes are also shrinking/unshrinking people through. ]
