Checking out the fruit and the trinkets, do any of the fruits resemble the apple he got from the flower game garden once upon a time, or the one grabbed by Amaranth? Is?? There even anything about them that's notable from other fruits at a glance really?????]

[ It is not, at first, clear what sorts of fruit trees they are—and upon closer inspection, you realize the source of your own confusion: each branch is laden with an impossibly wide variety of shapes and colors. The fruits themselves—grapes, pomegranates, mandarins, species you can’t even name—are all vividly colored, as if fresh from some painter’s brush. How many kinds are there? Perhaps every kind? All of them are layered with a freckling of warm-glowing light.

They don't seem precisely like the fruit that Amaranth brought back, or even like the one you got from that bleak garden, exactly. But they do seem beautiful and vital, as well as restorative.

The trinkets are just that: trinkets. Necklaces, bands, simply jewelry of gold and silver. They glisten in the sun, but staring directly at them will start to hurt your eyes - if you stare too long, you might get snow blindness. ]

[ Devil or not, for all the fruits' impossible perfection, there is something almost welcoming about them—not a compulsion; just a gentle, almost home-y feeling. As your hand touches each fruit, motes of light brush away from its skin, lightly dusting your fingertips with their glow.

You could more closely investigate the pitchers, games, and trinkets too, if you wished. ]
