[The idea of having a heart of flesh is actually not appealing to him, all things considered. He's very happy with his black box, thanks. Still, perhaps touching the water with his hand is okay? He reaches out to the shallowest pool and swirls his fingers through the water.]

[ It's cool to the touch, though if you reach further in you can feel a warmth at arm's length beginning to radiate, as though the fountainhead itself was heated. ]

[Hmm, no thanks. He pulls his hand from the water for now and looks for any other entrances or exits, aside from the one he entered by.]

[ It's not a bad warm, though... really, it's kind of pleasant?

There's four other fountains besides this one in the courtyard, but otherwise there's only the one open exit—the corridor you entered by. ]

[He strips his clothes off and decides to take a dang bath. Hopefully the "heart of flesh" bit is metaphorical, otherwise things are going to get really weird for him.]

[ Despite its coolness, it's not frigid; it's pleasantly cool, warmer to the bottom as though the fountainhead itself was heated.

You don't feel changed, but perhaps... you feel exactly as you are supposed to be. ]

[He's relieved about the heart thing, but not entirely sure what the purpose of the bath was. He feels nice, at least? He redresses and makes for the exit; no need to stay here.]

[ You step into the hallway; it stretches endlessly, it seems, but after some time you arrive at... precisely where you started, at the fountains.
