By all accounts, this was just an outpost. And it hasn't changed much since last time we were here.

Is it that they were expecting visitors or they were taken completely by surprise?

That would be quite the weapon to wipe all out and leave the setting undisturbed.

Then perhaps they were called away unexpectedly.

Unfortunately, does anyone exist that would know the answer to that question? Seeing as the only survivor slept through it.

The angel's. They went looking for other survivors.

Though I'm sure you're aware that fallen angels have been seen in Liar Hell as well as their technology after their god had forsaken them.

Since they have denounced their god--- I would say not. Even if they could be considered thriving in Liar Hell.

But I have only the one data point to go by.

If there is holy water, it can either purify or harm you depending on if you have Hell corruptions.

One of the rooms was defended by a door that you would constantly reroute you and had a sound alarm like nails on chalkboard times 1000.

How can you tell if water is holy? Or is it all so, here?
