[ It's easy to find a single snowdrop flower; your eye is drawn to it easily. And a chrysanthemum, too—a chrysanthemum of every color, in fact, but there it is, the white one.

As you approach the tree, you can see that its leaves are lush and green, but not of any species you can particularly identify. Actually, it's more like... the platonic ideal of a tree?

And still, taking a rest beneath its branches feels like the most natural thing in the world, somehow. ]

Yeah unfortunately sleep's gonna win out, time for a quick nap under the tree. Fifteen minutes can't hurt anyone, right?]

You don't remember what you dream, but you wake up to strange pinpricks—as though your leg had fallen asleep, but across your entire body. . .

Oh, what an embarrassing position for you.

Perhaps you don't see it now, but somewhere on your body, you'll later find the markings of two flowers, completely irremovable . . . ]

And then he wakes up and- hey what this sucks. Why did he even sleep, he doesn't need it anymore. Getting up and shaking that out.]

[ It's strangely hard to find either one again in this immense garden, even though you glimpsed them before;

Roll a 1d20 for each to try and find those exact flowers. ]

[Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

On one hand it would have been a neat souvenir, on the other, he does realize that they're not going to be able to fuck around here forever, not helped by the fact that he did just fuckin nap. There's so many flowers here, the chances of him managing to find those two again is really slim.

He will reluctantly go to the gate instead, but he'll keep an eye out for interesting flowers (or those two) on the way.]

[ The flowers are all lovely... in a way, they all seem perfect, and realer than real—

And somehow, you feel like you're bringing them all with you, anyway.

As you pass through the gate, it's as though a heaviness lifts from your chest—some terrible weight that you hadn't realized you'd been carrying. It had felt like terrible anguish, but now you can hardly remember it—it's as though it was a dream.

You find yourself in front of a fountain, with no way to cross back to where you were before. ]
