[ and she's back and just sort of staring at the water. looks a bit... uncomfortable. starts approaching the fountain again. there's nothing but the fountains in here, right, ...and c & co + screaming??? ]

[ Well. C just like, submerged himself bodily in the fountain, and it looks like K is considering the same thing, sooooooooo

But also a lot of people are here now. ]

[ she kneels down at the fountain and sticks her hand in. ]

[ The water is hot. it feels absolutely searingly hot. like, this is just downright unpleasantly hot. think-twice-and-then-a-third-time-before-you-jump-in kind of hot. But it doesn't actually harm you, is the thing.

At least, if you have any burns from touching holy stuff, your skin will heal . . . It hurts, though . . . ]

[ removes her hand and looks down into her lap for a moment, considering a bunch of things... like, what should she do, first and foremost. the pain is of no big concern to her, but... ]

[ sighs. ]

[ this is, like, a once in a lifetime opportunity... ]

[ she gets back to her feet and starts shedding her clothes, so she can climb into the fountain. she's not going to jump in like c did, but she'd like to have something dry to wear as soon as she's out, since water = wet = bad. ]

[ It's surprisingly deep.

It's also painful. It feels like it's burning everything away—the corruptions, certainly; the blood in your veins, maybe?

It feels as though all of you could burn away. Your identity, your existence, your self—if you don't hold fast to that. Just who are "you", anyway? ]

[ she grips the edge of the fountain and lets out of silent scream as her chest heaves painfully. she doesn't let it burn all of her away though... just the bits & pieces she considers little *leeches* on her person. ]

[ but it's a lot, because she's plenty corrupted, and soon she can't take it anymore, so she drags herself out. immediately, she curls up on herself and shivers. ]

D.va?!

[Moving to her side UHHH ARE YOU OKAY,]

[ it hurt a lot more than she had been expecting,
but she's fine now that she's out of it. ]

Izanagi... [ sets a hand over her face and tries to catch her breath. ] I think I might have managed to get rid of... some...

[He's actually going to do a quick check to see what's left.]

Yeah, I think so.

[ she's still got all her snake features... but it looks like the flowers might be coming apart. a few of her corruptions were also trigger related, so it'll be hard to know if they're still around, but... ]

I do feel a bit... better?

I think your flower hair's going away.

[Poke poke at a flower.]

[ wet plop. ]

I wonder if they're going away in the order I got them. Like newest to oldest? [ which would sort of explain the tail. ] I guess I'll have to check on the others... but... that's good that it worked!

It could be. Maybe the new ones aren't as settled yet, so they're easier to cleanse.

If it worked enough for you, that's good enough for me.

...me too. It'll be nice to be more the old me. [ smiles a bit. ] I don't mind a few of this, but, like, ...I didn't know who or what I was becoming I guess. Thanks for sticking around.

[ she took her clothes off and got in and now she's out... and wet... ]

[ she's looking a bit worse for wear, but she's ultimately pretty okay. ] K, h- hey.
