Fanmail the Thirtieth

[ Fanmail will be found in big boxes full of letters in the lobby, to be easily found by anyone who's walking by if the box isn't pulled quick enough. Some letters have QR codes, with instructions to scan them with your cell phone's free QR code scanner function. Beyond the letters that are submitted below, you may assume there are more letters in every box if you'd like.

Although bodies of letters may include idol aliases, assume every envelope and package is addressed to or otherwise uses the official idol name of the character.

Letters found in the "Everyone" header may be assumed to be part of every unit's box, most likely with multiple copies of the submission unless otherwise stated.

Characters on hiatus have their fanmail IC saved and stuffed into their mailbox for when they return! They'll be located in this post for easy findings, but don't worry, the fans' feelings will reach the character somehow ;)

Fanmail given to dropped characters will be sent to everyone in the unit, though still labeled with the dropped character's name. You can find these in the "Every Unit" subheader. ]

[This hand-drawn stick figure flip book contains Izanagi and Hurricane walking through the park, holding hands. When they get to the lake - a circle, with wavy lines on top for the water - they jump in and splash each other back and forth a few times before the book runs out of pages.]

[ This is apparently some kind of suspense-type romance novel, titled “No Laws of Robotics in Love”; it features Jack and Izanagi on the cover, crouched as if hiding from someone while Izanagi looks around a corner.]
“Hmm? Was the old man hiding something, you think?”

Jack leaned back, internal balance sensors sending him a stream of warning messages—suddenly Izanagi’s face had just been too, too close in a way that his processes didn’t know how to deal with. What was that supposed to mean?

But—right, the question. “I couldn’t say,” he hazarded, after a moment. “I mean, I was his assistant, but I don’t have the authorization to deal with sensitive data or to release it to anyone else, even with your credentials…”

“Seems shady…” Izanagi rubbed his chin. “You don’t plug into a wired charging port or anything like that, where a hacker could have inserted an extra cable, do you?”

“No—I’m solar-powered,” said Jack, shaking his head. “But—why do you ask?”

But he only shook his head. “Just eliminating the possibilities. Here’s the thing—I don’t care about the old man, really, and just because the department asks me to, doesn’t mean I’m that beholden to the blackmail Captain Yvette has on me. But—“

He grinned. “You’re the most interesting set of challenges I’ve had in years. Let’s have fun together, okay?”

***

Izanagi isn’t really a detective, but he’s the best consultant the department’s got to call on when it comes to really complicated crimes—owing in part to his own checkered past. When a murder turns up its main suspect as the man’s android assistant, he’s determined to get to the bottom of it and find the real culprit, because he just can’t believe that it would be an android—but is reluctant to divulge the reason for his gut instinct. He just needs to find the evidence, and that means getting closer to the assistant…

Jack is just trying to do his job, but unfortunately his owner is dead, and he can’t remember anything that happened the night of the crime. And the persistent case consultant Izanagi wants to get to know him better. Maybe there’s secrets he should be protecting, but he can’t help but want to tell Izanagi everything, even when Izanagi suggests that he falls outside of the humanity that Jack was intended to protect. Is there such a thing as friendship for androids? Or maybe… something more?

But the criminal is still on the loose—and apprehending them will test the tentative bonds between Jack and Izanagi. But it may yet forge them into something even stronger and never-before-seen in the world…

[BLADE], hope you're enjoying the festivities of the season~ I don't celebrate any of them, though, so I'm just going to ask whether you've been keeping up with your language practice.

[ at this point the letter does in fact, switch into her native language's flowing script— ]

Have you been well? How is your companion on LiliS? Have you been doing anything particularly fun recently? I'd like to hear about it!

Sincerely,
[THE MASK OF TAARAHAT]

You had the cutest pokemon during that one game! This is a little late in coming, but I hope you like it! I wanted you and your pupper to stay together! Maybe you can remember him with this?

[ Attached is a drawing of Izanagi and one of his pokemon. ]

[Its a doujin titled 'Off Screen' with a faintly blushing Izanagi in Rye's arms.]

[And its quite honestly porn, but this time with Rye in charge and very aggressively in charge. He pulls Izanagi into his room, and pins him to the bed right away. It's not long until there's rope involved.]

[Izanagi is surprised at first because he knows Rye can be overbearing, this aggression is definitely different from that. There is command and authority and its all directed in finding everything that makes Izanagi squirm and cry out despite himself.]

[And Rye is very thorough in that regard, with a doujin lasting forty-five pages of him just working to take Izanagi apart.]
