Fanmail the Thirtieth

[ Fanmail will be found in big boxes full of letters in the lobby, to be easily found by anyone who's walking by if the box isn't pulled quick enough. Some letters have QR codes, with instructions to scan them with your cell phone's free QR code scanner function. Beyond the letters that are submitted below, you may assume there are more letters in every box if you'd like.

Although bodies of letters may include idol aliases, assume every envelope and package is addressed to or otherwise uses the official idol name of the character.

Letters found in the "Everyone" header may be assumed to be part of every unit's box, most likely with multiple copies of the submission unless otherwise stated.

Characters on hiatus have their fanmail IC saved and stuffed into their mailbox for when they return! They'll be located in this post for easy findings, but don't worry, the fans' feelings will reach the character somehow ;)

Fanmail given to dropped characters will be sent to everyone in the unit, though still labeled with the dropped character's name. You can find these in the "Every Unit" subheader. ]

[ This appears to be a romance novel titled "A Castle with Room for Two." The cover features a serious-faced Lunafreya and a worried-looking Noctis holding each other by a seaside turned stormy. ]
“Hey, watch out—“

She turned, but too late, the ladder wobbling under her feet dangerously—and then toppling backwards as the wind blue through the old window, knocking her backwards.

He was already moving, arms stretched out to catch her, dropping his can of sealant—but not quite as accurately as he’d hoped, and both of them tumbled across the floor, tangled up in each other, but at least only bruised.

“Phew,” he said, letting out a deep breath and letting his head hang down, and she made a slightly disgruntled noise.

“Ah, Noctis, if you wouldn’t mind—“

He looked down properly, and realized where they’d ended up—with him straddling her, her laid out on the cold stone floor. He sprang back like a firecracker.

Lunafreya looked up at him, a slightly bemused expression on her face, and—for the first time since he’d been here, she laughed. Just briefly, a flutter of a chuckle, but—a real, genuine, beautiful laugh.

***

It turns out that relatively few people are interested in owning barely-notable seaside castles these days, and fiercely independent Lunafreya finds she can’t think of a better use for her inheritance. Where better to start over and build a life of her own—on her own—than overlooking a lovely view, with plenty of space for a perfectly ordered life.

Noctis wasn’t intending to get stuck in the middle of nowhere on his way to meet up with friends for a guys’ weekend—and is even more surprised when the castle he sees in the distance turns out to be occupied and, what’s more, by his childhood friend Lunafreya, whose family he lost contact with a long time ago. Stopping in for shelter from the rain turns into cancelling his plans and staying to help her prepare the place for a cold winter—but he can sense that beneath her self-reliant exterior, she’s hiding deep pain.

Can the two of them rekindle the spark of friendship—and maybe love?
