Fanmail the Thirtieth

[ Fanmail will be found in big boxes full of letters in the lobby, to be easily found by anyone who's walking by if the box isn't pulled quick enough. Some letters have QR codes, with instructions to scan them with your cell phone's free QR code scanner function. Beyond the letters that are submitted below, you may assume there are more letters in every box if you'd like.

Although bodies of letters may include idol aliases, assume every envelope and package is addressed to or otherwise uses the official idol name of the character.

Letters found in the "Everyone" header may be assumed to be part of every unit's box, most likely with multiple copies of the submission unless otherwise stated.

Characters on hiatus have their fanmail IC saved and stuffed into their mailbox for when they return! They'll be located in this post for easy findings, but don't worry, the fans' feelings will reach the character somehow ;)

Fanmail given to dropped characters will be sent to everyone in the unit, though still labeled with the dropped character's name. You can find these in the "Every Unit" subheader. ]

[ This appears to be some kind of romance novel, titled "A New Home for the Holidays." On the cover, Kohime and Adora are dressed in festive-colored winter apparel and standing outside under a brightly-lit Christmas tree; Adora has a big grin on her face, and Kohime a small hint of a smile. ]
“I don’t get this at all,” muttered Kohime, squinting at the icing tube. Why wasn’t it coming out? She could sort of see the green stuff, although she also had no idea why anyone would want to eat that color. Maybe if she squeezed harder—

The tube exploded in her hand, getting icing everywhere—and also on her face. “Gah—Adora, stop laughing, help me get this
off!”

Because Adora, that traitor, was totally over there cracking up, even as she got a damp towel. “I guess maybe it needs to be… not
quite as thick? Honestly, I’m still kinda getting the hang of the baking thing myself. Look, though—“

She handed Kohime the towel, and picked up one of the cookies she’d just finished, which was somewhat amateurishly decorated to look like Eichi. And then bit his head off.

“Pfft—okay, I guess there’s
some novelty to these things,” she said, and dropped the towel over Adora’s head. “Now get me some better icing.”

***

Though it’s only Adora’s first Christmas in Heart Hills, she already feels like she’s more at home than she’s ever been in her life—like she’s found the home that her unstable mother definitely couldn’t provide. The only thing she’s lacking is someone to share it with—which is why she’s thrown herself into trying to save the local holiday celebrations when it turns out the budget’s run dry. She’s sure she can make something work—but an old flame turning up in town might throw a wrench into everything.

Kohime and Adora were each others’ only friends growing up, but they split for good years ago. Kohime’s aggressively carved out a life of her own where she doesn’t need anyone—except that she didn’t expect to get ousted from the business she built and having her car break down at the motel in some small town with a hideously cute name. And worse, Adora’s there and ready to pick up again like they never left off and draft her into baking cookies for orphans or whatever when Kohime would rather be working on getting her stuff back.

But when Kohime’s business enemies threaten to buy up the town entirely, maybe she can muster up a little bit of the holiday spirit out of spite. And maybe it’s not so bad, spending time together again. Can Adora get her on the Nice list for good?
