But they have other attackers on that unit. Would Ace not be a less obvious target? And he has incurred less public scorn than Cardigan, or Raijuu.

From what I know about Cardigan, I think they'd want to keep their fighters on the front lines. And they'd probably assume people would be reluctant to attack someone new.

But maybe that's just how I'd approach it.
