I’m sure you’ve already noticed, but things are pretty not great right now. And saying “please don’t worry about me” probably won’t help if you’ve already come this far. I’d rather you didn’t put yourself in any more danger than you had to, but-- since I can’t guarantee you’ll do that… I prepared this for you.
This… is a battle orbment-- the ARCUS II. As you can see it allows you to send messages or call others with them. If there’s anyone else here, you should be able to reach them this way. More than that though, it will allow you to use special abilities that can be used against monsters or other threats.
If you really have to go somewhere… please take it with you. This orbment can only do so much to protect you, but it will allow you to fight back. But those powers won’t work unless you have it with you. But you don’t have to worry about the device itself, they’re built to withstand a lot.
I knew you would come, but it doesn’t make this any easier. Of course a selfish part of me is happy that you’d come, but it’s wrong. I know I’ve said it to you before, but you have to stay safe. No matter what it takes. Even if that means forgetting about me. I don’t care.
I’m going to fight. But I know that no matter what happens to me, you’re going to be okay. And me... I’ll have been a better person for having met you. My life has been so much brighter for having you in it.
