I think he understands the exact terms of my disagreement, but he can't...relate to them, because my stance is that he should value himself more than he does.
Of course. If you should ever need to vent do feel free. I can keep my discretion from time to time. And I know what it is like to have a loved one have no concept of taking care of themself.
If I see him again it will be a joy, if not, than I have made my peace. I merely wished to sympathize with what it is to watch one you love love themselves less.
You are a kind young man. Yes, perhaps I will see him again. In the meantime we must all focus on the living. Your brother sounds like a handful for you, and I hope that at least he is not self-destructive, even if he neglects himself?
I would make a pithy remark but in fact that is part of being the youngest. Others will look out for you over themselves, generally. Human nature or animal instinct or whatever you want to call it.
Perhaps not all to your brother's extremes though?

...That said, I do understand missing him. Jason and I have a lot of family at home as well.
Re: START
But I do understand, missing your family is only natural.

Re: START
Still... Perhaps he'll arrive one day. Or you'll gain a wish for him.

I think he tries not to be.

Ah. You must deal with a lot.
