In any case, he's got a lot of reach with his stunhalberd, so he's letting out a bloodcurdling WAR CRY (-25hp the madman) and using Crimson Gale (74 + 83 = 157)(tails), then following up with Death Storm (122).
[ While the boss is root-tied in one spot, a barrage of attacks send it toppling over with a loud crash. The earth quakes under the pressure of it's fall, threatening to make the party lose it's foothold.

Lloyd gets rootstabbed but Tio is way too cool for that and stays just out of reach. But both have time to put out some attacks.
