Vergil's heart game r2
You feel weak, your body won't move no matter how you try, and you are falling, away from everything you know and love. Away from everything you need to accomplish. If you could just reach out, maybe you could hold on to it, claw your way back. But it's a useless endeavour, you fall unconscious, and your mind goes blank except for poetry and a familiar voice.
O mother Enitharmon, wilt thou bring forth other sons?
To cause my name to vanish, that my place may not be found,
For I am faint with travail,
Like the dark cloud disburden'd in the day of dismal thunder.
My roots are brandish'd in the heavens, my fruits in earth beneath
Surge, foam and labour into life, first born and first consum'd!
Consumed and consuming!
Then why shouldst thou, accursed mother, bring me into life?
You wake on the ground in a cave, cold, wet, and sticky. It smells of rotting flesh. Your objective is clear, but you can't recall a name or face. Nothing else about your memory of him is changed, but for some reason the name "Vergil" just won't come to you, and you couldn't describe how he looks if your life depended on it. But at least your body starts to respond to your will, slowly regaining enough strength to carry on.

Re: LIBRARY
Lahabrea can sense where the parts of this soul are.
[He points at the one of the statues, The Watcher of Time.]
That one accepts demons blood and is colored in the color of his soul. What that means, I do not know. The other statue, Combat Adjudicator, could provide demon blood but only responds to Yamato.
Lahabrea saw Yamato in the first room high above.
And far beyond is a unmoving, stagnant conglomeration of souls. What that means, I do not know.
Since Lahabrea can sense Vergil, and he requested it, I will stay with the boy. Though I will move around with him.
You can join, go with Lahabrea, or venture as you wish. Might I asked what you found to cause you to get a few scuffs?
Re: LIBRARY
Admittedly I don't enjoy being alone in this place but we might have better chances at doing something by going our separate ways. I do agree it's best for you to stay with the boy.
Now.
Where do we get some demon's blood?
Re: LIBRARY
I would rather you not hunt for demons. As powerful as you are with my magics, I do believe I am better suited for the task. Though there is a pathway in the first room through the heart. Though I imagine that's his blood, but it could still have demon properties. No slaying of demons necessary.
Re: LIBRARY
[ he sighs ]
Would the sword only respond to him?
Re: LIBRARY
I know very little of Yamato unfortunately outside of its uses. Can another wield it? I imagine so as a normal blade. Why don't you stay with me until we find you something suitable.
Our options seem to be the human world through the mirror or the doors to the south.
Re: LIBRARY
We'll get back here as a meeting place if we're stuck.
Re: LIBRARY
I'll see if I can't find you a suitable weapon as I search.
Re: LIBRARY
... And after this you're both coming to Taisho.
Re: LIBRARY
[He squeezes his hand before straightening.]
And you are as stubborn as he is. A few demons won't get in your way.
Re: LIBRARY
They won't. And I'll be fine, so you don't have to worry so much.
Re: LIBRARY
I will always worry, but off with you. You are more than capable, we have much to do, and I wish to hear of your exploits when it is done.
