You feel weak, your body won't move no matter how you try, and you are falling, away from everything you know and love. Away from everything you need to accomplish. If you could just reach out, maybe you could hold on to it, claw your way back. But it's a useless endeavour, you fall unconscious, and your mind goes blank except for poetry and a familiar voice.

You wake on the ground in a cave, cold, wet, and sticky. It smells of rotting flesh. Your objective is clear, but you can't recall a name or face. Nothing else about your memory of him is changed, but for some reason the name "Vergil" just won't come to you, and you couldn't describe how he looks if your life depended on it. But at least your body starts to respond to your will, slowly regaining enough strength to carry on.

Oh look you have an inexplicable video game inventory. Nothing looks right on the hook above the mantle, it's too large a space. But there's an empty vase, and a clear empty spot on a book shelf that fits the journal just right. The violin sits nicely on the wall, and what else do you really do with a tail bow? Sure it can go on the wall. Everything looks nice!

[ VERY NICE everything put in its perfect place it is a little satisfying and he hopes it will amount to, well. Something. But he promised he'd leave the exploring to Lahabrea, so once placing everything on the right place is done, he'll go back to Eva ]

Will you be fine on your own?

"I will, thank you, you've done plenty, Five. I may seem to be alone here, but that isn't truly the case, is it?" She just smiles warmly, placing a hand on your arm.

[ There's a small smile at that, and that's pretty sweet of her really. He knows it's a part of Vergil, so really that makes it all the more sweet. He'll pause for a moment and then he's going to lean in to kiss her cheek ]

Oh! She beams! "Watch out or I'll have to insist on adopting you."

[ there's a laugh at that ]

I think that would be a step-up for me so. Consider me adopted.

"Then you're welcome home any time. Well, you would be anyway, but not only as a guest."

I'll keep it mind.

And I'll be back if we end up having to place something here. But for now I should go back to the library. If Lahabrea comes here, well. Make certain he sees the flowers.

"I will be sure to point them out." She laughs, and it's just a little bit mischievous. Even something made by Vergil's heart is down with embarrassing him. "Take care, Five, and do pass on my appreciation to Hades too."

[ and with that, he'll blink back in the library ]

[He will tuck him in the pile when he gets into the library. He can either sleep himself or watch Vergil sleep. Whatever he likes.]
