Vergil's heart game r2
You feel weak, your body won't move no matter how you try, and you are falling, away from everything you know and love. Away from everything you need to accomplish. If you could just reach out, maybe you could hold on to it, claw your way back. But it's a useless endeavour, you fall unconscious, and your mind goes blank except for poetry and a familiar voice.
O mother Enitharmon, wilt thou bring forth other sons?
To cause my name to vanish, that my place may not be found,
For I am faint with travail,
Like the dark cloud disburden'd in the day of dismal thunder.
My roots are brandish'd in the heavens, my fruits in earth beneath
Surge, foam and labour into life, first born and first consum'd!
Consumed and consuming!
Then why shouldst thou, accursed mother, bring me into life?
You wake on the ground in a cave, cold, wet, and sticky. It smells of rotting flesh. Your objective is clear, but you can't recall a name or face. Nothing else about your memory of him is changed, but for some reason the name "Vergil" just won't come to you, and you couldn't describe how he looks if your life depended on it. But at least your body starts to respond to your will, slowly regaining enough strength to carry on.

She leads you toward the house, where the door is already open, leading into a foyer with a luxurious seating area, tea and appropriate snacks set out like company was fully anticipated. The sofas are a Victorian sort of style, but either quite new or extremely well taken care of.
There's all variety of artifacts on display from around the world and collected over the past 2000 years, demonic or otherwise magical things too. Every room is practically a museum, but most of it is treated like any other artwork. Even the demonic items that are grotesque or clearly dangerous. A sword hung up beside a gold painted vase from ancient Greece, beside a crystallised demon skull, interspersed with family photos and book cases.
Marble pillars flock the entrance, and a grand fireplace is the centrepiece at the far end of the room. There's a hook on the wall high above it. Five has set a book and violin back in their spots, a certain bow which is for tails also hangs on the wall. And in a vase on the table beside the tea is a recognisable bouquet. Besides the mantle there's still one more empty hook among the veritable museum.
Eva points out the flowers, laughing a little to herself. "Five was particularly adamant you should see these. I think the bow is worth mentioning too." You can tell from that sageo link these are some of the soul pieces.

She gladly watches, the painting is perfect for the mantle of course, it wouldn't fit anywhere else. There isn't an exact place for Yamato, because really where do you put a sword that should be in use? It could certainly be displayed somewhere though, maybe you have an idea. If you want to grind this heart really hard you could maybe go further into the house to forbidden areas scrapped in the planning process since you're above the law. Maybe somewhere further in would have a spot. The world is in fact your oyster because it belongs to you apparently.

And for all he has been through, and all he still doubts it, he is very much beloved. I do hardly know where to begin with how dearly I cherish him. Let alone the others he had come to mean much to.
